We cant lose with #3, Draper, Smith or FOS one way or another we will be happy with one of them being in Eagles colours.

Jagga Smith sounds like Chris Masten (too small to be a gun at AFL), FOS is a half back. Draper is the one I want.

Have read suggestions that the Tigers will target our pick to get FOS and Jagga together, doesn’t sound like North are keen on Jagga. Wonder if we’d slide down to GC’s pick at 6 (for Rioli)? Would probably get 1 of the picks they get for Bolton/Baker on top?

Would need hawks to lose this wkend to keep that 14.
Sounds as if Battle leaving & getting band 1 compo isn't a sure thing either.

I like it & can super-charge our rebuild having 3 picks within 14.

I don't think adding 1 more player for them unbalances their list. They probably already plan on getting 2 first rounders from Freo for Bolton and could easily miss that. But in any case they will take a bunch of kids and the higher those kids are drafted the better for them. I'd be more concerned about how they are going to meet the salary cap next year when they have no players, than I'd be in 3 years time if every one of their picks becomes a player that needs to be paid 1 million a season.

No way Tigers trade out their F1 for ANOTHER 1R this year when they're going to have a GAZILLION of them anyhow.

I'd only give up our second this year for Baker myself, considering it'll be low 20s anyway, which is a more than fair price.

I don't know what defensive beast truly is but if its tackling and grunt work on the inside its only one side of the coin .

Priddis has/had ? The tackling record was he a defensive beast ?

But he was also a witches hat on the spread and in transition.

Harley is a terrible defensive runner and I suspect Lalor is also. They burn their petrol tickets in offensive and have no tank the other way .

Sid draiper is a good tackler but a fantastic 2 way runner . He is perfect for our team . His team mate Kade Herbert is a fantastic hard running winger who can also lay a mean tackle .

Get these 2 and I'm happy .

Absolutely spot on about Baker’s footy, except that a lot of people don’t know it.

How on earth can we be discussing using an early 2R (Hynes, Oliver, O’Farrell) on Baker with stats like this? That last thing we need are more shitty footskills at the club. Particularly when they are expensive 27yo foot skills.
