I want Phillipou.

Dunno why. Just reckon he'll be a gun

Get on board the bandwagon, there's plenty of room!

all aboard travel GIF

Not sure we want or need Buzzlinger but he is a shoe in I reckon to go to Geelong at 8. He has been like a nephew of Joel Selwood since he was an auskicker and Selwood actually mentioned him after the GF. Unless Geelong have a need elsewhere I think he is a certainty if available at geelongs pick.

Saints and Carlton are both interested in Norths pick 3 to get Wardlaw, I would not be shocked if Saints offer this years and next years first rounder to North to get it.
I would probably take that from the Saints if all thing normal as I do not see them making the 8 or close. 3 for 9 and another single digit is a premium. But from a delay list build, it would be horrible. North effectively take 3 first rounders into 2023 - likely to be one at the pointy end, another in single digits and another early teens.

Move Norf to Tasmania and rename them and we have another expansion club disaster.

Now Geelong have 7 - they will have one of Clark or Busslinger at that range and both a great picks. Bugger the Suns.

And end up with the Poo, Hewett, DJ & Allen (neither of these 2 will make it to 26)

Please tell me that our want to select Phillipou is legit!?

I would be stoked if we selected him at 8 because i think he may have the biggest upside in the entire draft, but, i cannot help but think that given O'Briens overwhelming history of prioritizing backmen that he is going to select Busslinger..........

I thought Jhye Clarke, being the captain of the falcons was the certainty there? Though if you add Busslinger to De Konig and Henry you are set in the bacline for a long time to come, and the option to try De Konig forward when Hawkins pulls up stumps.

North are into Hunter Clark are they not?

Him and pick 10 for 3?

To be fair, the Poo is a half forward that could be a midfielder (and actually has really good exposed midfield form), rather than a half back that may be a midfielder (who has no exposed midfield form). Could see why O'Brien wouldn't want to touch that.

Hewett is all signed and sealed with the Eagles

He's been eyed up by the eagles for sometime, been told to play within him self and SD have been playing him out of position in the league

Need to find a suitable trade for 18 or 19 from GWS with out 26)

Pick 20 and our F 2nd for 18 and 19?

Ports F2nd plus 26 for 18?

26 plus a F3rd for 19 would be too much to hope for I'm thinking.

I’ll spew if Fremantle trade Lobb for pick 11, one pick before us.

Don’t think the dogs are quite that stupid

Mind you I’m not entirely certain why they’re going after Lobb in the first place

So much for the ‘AFL MAKE EVERYONE SAVE TRADES FOR THE DEADLINE FOR TV DRAMA!1!1’

Tomorrow night is gunna be ‘oooh errr will Ollie Henry get to Geelong oh my oh my’

😴😴😴😴
Dunkley probably the biggest trade still pending now

Then the we won’t trade Lobb trade

WC don't have the balls to even grab SA blokes now.
Why would you think that?

Posters here, myself included, have theorised that Sheezel and Wardlaw being potential flight risks as a reason for splitting pick 2. However, O’Brien has said that wasn’t an issue and they’d back themselves to retain any non-WA player they selected

And we have plenty of evidence to suggest we aren’t shy in drafting players from outside WA.

I think the pieman can tell half truth’s at times…. I mean he said today they honestly thought they were a chance for Jackson

Literately drafted Chesser with our first pick last year.

I think it’s more a case of wanting to take more picks at the top end.

One of 8 or 12 will be non-WA player.
