That would have to be a massive slide for Hewett. He'd have to be available at pick 23 after the 3 matches (Brisbane x2 & Essendon).

The clubs are to blame as well. The rich and popular clubs (us, Pies, Tigers, Blues, Crows) should make an agreement to blow the fot cap next year but only spend it on things for player welfare. Then tell the AFL to get stuffed when they try and charge a tax.

When in a flag window that is what clubs should do.

We have finally woke up and accepted we arent there any more and are changing strategy. Thats why Culley spent time on ball at CB's and Gaff finally moved back to the wing / flank.

Very few draftees walk straight into the centre square set up and immediately displace veterans. How many can you name from other clubs who have done this? The ones that can and do are top 5 picks who are physically developed. We havent had a top 5 pick in over 10 years.

Disagree with you. Why shouldn’t a young midfielder get some CBDs with the senior mids. They don’t have to play 90% in the guys but we should always have an eye to the future.

Big moments, sure go the experience but gotta be looking forward

I think it comes down to what and where WC are at. Are we in a full rebuild over a few years or do we think we can do a Geelong and mix and match our way back quickly?
