Trew had a 9 month set of injuries (back stress injury and shin splints) so he was out of action until Round 5. Pretty clear that he would know that this is his last year to save his career. Same with Winder drafting Long and adding Dewar as a Cat B sends a pretty clear message too.

TBH winder was the most talented player left available. If he actually gets that talent out of himself is another matter. Feel bad for Gilbey, he is an unlucky story. There is more to Szybowski not getting drafted from what I have heard.
