Or we just lose to the Hawks in Tassie with only 22 fit players to select.
In all seriousness if Hawthorn win the wooden spoon and get Harley Reid we definitely tanked West Coast is injury depleted like I’ve never seen before if they don’t get pick one it’s because Hawthorn tanked no doubt about it. Having said that there’s some really good players in the top five of this year‘s draft it’s being called a super draft for a reason so whatever happens it’s not that bad for either Team.

Four months until the season ends and we know who has pick 1

Basically a whole season of underage games ahead for this years draft crop to display their talents so that a pecking order can be established with any credibility

There’s also a trade and FA period that will impact the draft order beyond simple finishing positions

The draft itself is still more than 6 months away

But yeah let’s talk about trading a pick we don’t yet have based on draftees who have yet to establish their credentials

And the problem is what exactly?;)

It more enjoyable than talking about our performances ATM.

You don’t really watch non Victorian clubs do you?

There were some weeks during the 2021 season where Gold Coast were selecting from 23 fit players.

Your only current fascination with the Eagles, is that they are a contender in the Reid Cup.

Hope you’re spending as much time on the North board, as they’re dropping faster than a lead balloon. (to be fair, it’ll only be later in the season when we really have an idea who’s genuinely rock bottom, as rounds 18 & 20, North play Hawks then Eagles).

Hawks vs Freo @MCG and North vs GC in Tassie in round 24 could be vomit inducing.

Of course the only reason I’m interested in the West Coast and North Melbourne situation is because we’re all fighting it out for pick one I wonder why as a Brisbane supporter you’re lurking on these forums what interest is it to you you guys are probably gonna win the premiership. The Hawks West Coast in North are adleast five years away

And the positive.

Daniel Curtin, best key defender in this draft by a fair way, 197cm? really well built, good tank, good agility/speed considering his size especially, played midfield aswell and dominated with 26 disposals, 20 kicks, 18 contested, 12 clearances & 11 tackles.

:thumbsu:
Playing colts. Versus Harley Reid who got BOG playing VFL seniors for Carlton.

I’m not lurking. I’ve been an active participant here for the last 18 months or so.

I'm just going off what i've heard, could be different.

And i'd assume if West Coast get Pick 1 and that is the case, they'd be trading to others with more draft capital (Melbourne).

Where did you read this? Genuinely interested.
Heard it in the interview at draft time from that broken link posted earlier. There was chatter amongst the other interstate clubs about Sheezel & Wardlaw basically telling their managers they didn't want to leave Vic.
