I can't believe we're writing off briztoon already :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:
He has shown great stamina but not the football IQ to be welcome on oppo boards.

Again, it is disappointing that the self proclaimed wise man from the east does not come bearing gifts

Ah - another gift yfrom the self proclaimed wise man from the east.

What the flock has this got to do with contracts and trade?

Can we get another thread for Briskent andhis followers as he loves highjacking what is meant to be our thread.

What does a Lions membership cost compared to ours I wonder?

Are all clubs the same membersip prices?

if we bring in 7 new players next year who do we delist to make room ?

Does Cripps get pushed out because we have so many small forwards ?

Sheed obviously goes

Coen Livingston goes that creates another cat b spot i think

Callum Jamieson would have to go

Same with Loch Rawlinson

Jack Petruccelle gets traded

Then we are looking at someone else we dont wont to go like

Tyrell Dewar or a Jack Hutchinson or a Ryan Maric or trade Liam Ryan

The first six you have mentioned are gone IMO. Petch is a FA so a band 3 offer would be superb but we’d be lucky to get band 4. Next cabs off the rank for me would be Hunt, Brockman then Dewar depending on need. Chesser would also want to have a good year. Hutch and Maric I would 100% keep. Liam can go for the right price.

Sheed, Cripps = Retire

Jameison, Petrucelle, Livingstone, Rawlinson = Delist

Barnett and Chesser are under pressure to have a good year

Tyrell Dewar one of my favourite players will be on the list next year 100% he is a gun and shouldn’t be in delisting conversations. In games where he isn’t the sub he averages around 12 touches and 1 goal better than brockman and chessar as well as petch.

I have a feeling some fringe players will ask for a trade due to not fitting into the new game plan.

Saying that I doubt we take more than warner and a first rounder then our father son / academy players .

Or if we don't get warner 2 firsts and our academy and F/s .

Banfield and wally will be late 2nd rounders and koby evens will be a cat B rookie due to his poor kicking and attitude problems

Why 7? With our picks and academy/FSs?

I don’t think every post needs to be prefaced with it being a prediction or expectation as it stands. A lot can change in 12 months, just ask Jake Waterman.
Yep.

Also, I'm just happy people are talking about our list and not membership prices again, considering there's a dedicated thread for that...

Are people seriously writing off 7 players for next seasons delistings already?
Guys like sheed and cripps are cooked and cooking. Petrucelle has been on the list for ages and we are still waiting for his breakout year. Barnett isn't even good enough for wafl, jameisons body never holds up. 2026 delisting will be a hard decision, but players removed from years 2020-2025 have been pretty obvious before the years even began

Most agree with first 6.
Sheed, Cripps: retire
Jamieson, Rawlinson, Livingstone: delist
Petch: trade FA, might get band 3, pick in 40's
Most under pressure: Flynn, Chesser, Brockman
If Flynn doesn't have a decent year can see WC shift him to AFLW ruck coach which he is also doing and WAFL player.
Chesser needs to find his groove and position or he would be on trade table same as Petch.
Next would be Brockman imo.
WC use 1st pick(3-4) to draft best mid available.
C Warner 2 x 1st round picks, Hawks 1st and WC F1st.(The homesick Warners x 2, Cory F3rd or 4th)
Leaves picks approx. 22, 30, 48 to use on Banfield(late 2nd), Walley(late 2nd), Evans(4th).
2 options in 2025 if WC lose Flynn we seriously need a decent ruck, TDG FA, L Reidy F3rd.
If WC move some players around in positions that we are in need of depth, decent players going forward.
Maric KDEF, Barnett KDEF, A Reid KDEF and they succeed in 2025 we are probably not in need of KDEF draftee in 2025?
If not WC will hope C Curtin gets through to our second pick or if he is a priority WC will need to buy another 1st round pick from someone like GC.
If not preferred option as WC list will be getting very young a couple of KDEF options in the 22+ age group who are OOC almost ready to play like Blight, Busslinger(pre-contract) imo.

There’s no chance Flynn is moved on a year early with our ruck stocks. Sadly I don’t see a situation where we leave with our 1R pick and the Chad. It’s one or the other. Swans would ask for our 1R and F2 rather than Hawks 1R and our F1 if finishing positions don’t change. I’m on board with developing Barnett and Maric as KPDs. Archer I want to keep developing at CHF, but would rather he play KPD for the Eagles than KPF for the Beagles if it comes to it.

Cody Curtin with Hawks 1R and Josh Lindsay with our own 2R would be my priorities as well as taking the best KPD or ruck in the MSD. Our 1R turns into (most of) The Chad or Rodriguez IMO. The rest of the picks are to match bids on our NGA and FS kids.
