Is this a trick question?
Nope, genuinely interested in why you think the Bulldogs are going to give up a player coming into his prime that you yourself said is a "superstar" for just a late first round pick.
It would be like us accepting a late first round pick for Oscar Allen, I imagine that wouldn't be much of a popular move around here

Yet another BOG for Tinglish.

22 disposals, 10 contested, 1 goal, 6 clearances, 7 marks, 10 score involvements (most on the ground) 22 hitouts, 459MG and 138 ranking points.

Against Tristan Xerri who had 20 disposals, 28 hitouts and 8 clearances. This is the problem with english. If he's 205cm and getting beaten in the ruck so convincingly if he didn't have a superstar midfield around him he wouldn't really be of significant use. Sure spectacular second ruck and secondary forward option but that role is not worth a top 10 pick. Particularly when we currently have 3 players on the list who can play that same role that will cost us peanuts.

I'd much rather trade out Bailey Williams and delist Jamieson and draft Broadbent and keep Strnadica.

I get you don't like him, but he was BOG for his team vs Melbourne against Gawn and Jackson who had minimal impact.

Is Gawn as shit as Xerri?

Feel like the knocks against English are starting to hold less and less weight. His ruck craft is the one and only thing wrong with his game, and i think we'd be able to improve it substantially.

Like how Kelly was out of contract and wasn't Geelong's to give?
So we just gave them two firsts and two second round picks out of the goodness of our hearts? That was nice of us.
Kelly could've gone to Freo as they had earlier picks.
That won't be the case next year.

Kelly was also rated a lot more highly than English IMO.

Clean out at seasons end both coaches and players

Retire Natauini, Hurn, Kennedy, players to be moved on cripps, nelson, question marks over these players darling, gaff, shuey, redden

Too many players past their best and on the decline, need to get as games into the youth for the remainder of the season

Really agree

Retire - Shuey, Hurn and Kennedy

Trade - Darling and Gaff

Nelson and Cole - delist

Zac Langdon just **** off

Why's that?

There is no way everyone at the club is fine with how Darling and the vaccination situation played out. From seeing a doctor about a work place injury to suddenly being vaccinated with minimal communication, it was all pretty messy.

Throw in we're rebuilding (no one will be thinking we're a flag chance) and he's 30 now and he's an obvious one to ship out that another club would value. Someone like the Dogs would love him.

What are Darling and Gaff actually worth though? We need some older players while the kids develop.
Probaly a late pick at best, honestly cant really think of any players with currency worth trading out of the club.
Dont see why the old players shoud be allowed to hog up spots on the list and not allow youth to develop.
Always look back and see the additional years old timers where gifted instead of youth s burgoyne, brent harvey just retire ffs

zip -about as much as Brander. gaff is perhapos of some value to the right team. Darling has killed his career by declining the pre season. He is a fool and the sooner he is gone the better. He is one of the entitled oldies who forget they were only good because they worked so hard.
