The trick is to get as many letters in your first couple of guesses, which is just pot luck.
Getting only one or none first up makes it much harder.
I tend to change my first word.
In this case, because I had 4 letters after 2 guesses, it was fairly easy to work out the word.
For you, having the last 2 letters in the right place and 1 more made it similarly easy.
