I don't know but I think I ended up in the Southern Stand in the MCG. 106 was full of Carlton supporters and the atmosphere in the third quarter was epic.

I sat next to a Sydney supporter (from Sydney) and he said what are the chances of of going to a Sydney home final and ending up in Lygon Street? Good bloke.

Some pics from our seats at the game.

The quintessential Judd pic, he is always in the thick of it but arms free

How is it possible to get a shot of this guy completely alone as if no other player is there?

Another Judd kick just caught the ball after it left his boot

Eddie did a bit too much of this unfortunately

Very exciting in the 3rd, fantastic fightback and very very frustrating in the last seeing the ball spend so much time in our 50 (at our end, the cheer-squad end) and struggle to convert that dominance into a match winning lead. We felt the thud of the Waite miss hitting the post and with it our hopes of staying in front. But its what the Swans do, they grind you down and you need to take every chance you get with them because of that.

We will be much better for it, but still hard to take.

Thankfully I was also in 106, seemed to be the only Blue stronghold at the ground.

I was in the same section in row 13, and it was absolutely electric whenever we kicked a goal and in particular that third quarter.

Was so sad after the game though :(

I had a feeling when Waite hit the post, and the play 3-4 minutes after that it started to swing their way and that they would do to us what they do to most teams they play close games with at the SCG and churn out a close win.

Still makes me sick in the guts losing that game much worse than last year an I think actually being there makes it worse that just watching on TV.

I was in 142 directly behind our cheer squad. And yes, that metallic clunk of the Waite shot slamming into the post sounded the end of our chances to win.

Sat 105-1 which was just to the left of the main contingent of carlton supporters. and yes, the atmosphere in that 3rd qtr was absolutely unbelievable! it felt like it was a home game in some stages.
it's a real shame we couldn't get over the line, especially for the supporters who made the effort to travel. I went to Brisbane last year so it was all deja vu to me. It digs deep and I'll be feeling it for a while longer. Just prey to god the pies don't win the big one which will really top off a great end to the season. :(

On that note, hopefully some solid recruiting and a big pre season for the boys will mean we can go a step or two better in 011!

So was I; stalker.

And yes it was sad. I probably sat in the seat for about 15 minutes just in shock.

Then I got up and walked out in my Carlton T-Shirt proudly.

Got joshed by some w***er Sydney supporters who then started to bag the Melbourne Storm; I joined in with them.
