First game of Ammos I've watch for a long time.

Some things which stood out:

Umpires were excellent.
Not a lot of young blokes.
Good quality game when it stopped raining.
The players really don't get paid?
Umpires are usually running higher divisions who come down for finals depending where they are in the food chain (according to selectors).
Yes, at this level.
It usually is.
Yes.

Now you know why I kept telling you I loved umpiring at the top level... :D

Canterbury will probably refuse to go up a Division again. Don't blame them. My cousin was umpiring today and went down to watch the game.
Real Steven Bradbury type moment for the Cobras.

I remember playing against North Brunswick in the 80’s they beat up on the old school teams at their home ground but never travelled well . They moved between F and D grade now they move between D3 and D 3 snipers at home weak as piss away

Disgraceful. I don't think I've seen a more incompetent football association

And HQ probably wonders why divisional club are choosing to play elsewhere instead.
Imagine if this happened to an A or B section club ... there'd be an uproar and they'd make changes on the spot - instead of changing obvious f-ups, divisional clubs get told to lump it.
