Are tickets availiable, or do we just rock up.
I heard Sheehan say on AA there would be tickets.
I want to go so I can pretend I am a NY Knick fan and boo our first pick. Hopefully it aint Milera lol.

Obviously, I would love to nab him. I think GC are the only threat though.I get the feeling most of us are trying to find ways that Francis falls to 9. I genuinely don't think it will happen.
Gold Coast, Melbourne, Essendon or Carlton will grab him. They would all be crazy to pass him over. I think Gold Coast will grab him.
All gone.
Bugger.
They were free, so I guess people took the max.Sheesh, that was quick.
I'm awaiting confo from someone re 2 tix I got for them. I'm sure closer to the date there will be some spares floating around.
People bought 8, just because they could - I bet not all will be accounted for.
I took 2. I thought: "Who the **** would want 8?".They were free, so I guess people took the max.
Not that I am aware of!
All gone.
Bugger.
Greedy people.I took 2. I thought: "Who the **** would want 8?".
Damn, if anyone who got tickets changes their mind/can't go between now and the draft let me know .

I see Melbourne and Carlton both taking KPF at that pick.
As stated above, if Melbourne take Weidemann at 3...
I reckon Essendon will take Parish and Curnow. Melbourne to take McKay and maybe then Carlton will grab Francis (as top KPFs are gone).
In which case, even if Francis goes to GC, we get Oliver or Milera which I'd be equally happy with.
I honestly don't see a scenario where we get two of Milera, Francis, Oliver and McKay.

I'll definitely need 4 tickets as I've been screwed. I have an order confirmation but no tickets. They screwed me over.Sheesh, that was quick.

Cheers,Thats a tough one.
Judging by SOS' comments that given the number/placement of our picks it allows us to be "strategic" on draft night.
So going by that logic, I'd say McKay as we could still get a decent midfielder in whats said to be a fairly even second tier crop just two picks picks later.
On the flipside, it could also mean that we take Francis at #8 and then select on need at #11 and #19.
1. Weitering
8. H. McKay
11. Oliver
19. best available (if Gresham is gone - would even reach here for B McKay IMO).
That is fine as you have a group going.A group of my mates wanted tickets so one guy got 8 tickets. Not sure if it's GA or resevred but I can understand a group wanting to sit together or get the tickets in one group.
And Riley's mum was a big Port supporter. Means nothing once you pull on the guernsey.

Definitely a chance we take H McKay over Francis = bigfooty melt , I would prefer Francis if it came to that but I wouldn't be overly disappointed at allAnyone else get the feeling that Francis is shaping up as the Dangerfield Vs. Ebert debate. Imagine the meltdown on this board if we overlook Francis for a Victorian kid who is a couple of years away from playing!
Just feel that McKay could struggle at Carlton compared to if he comes with us and can just take his time being the main man with tex another 5 years and Jenkins probably 2-3Cheers,
Weitering and McKay.. There's your posts set for the next decade and a bit. Players that you can build the entire team around.
Ok, so what I said was based on my personal feeling from the footage I've seen so I decided to quickly have a look at what else has been said about him.Not sure if serious. He is a genuine bottom ager that makes the cut off for this draft by some 5 odd days. When I see him I see a very talented, mobile, agile big that marks at the peak of his height (like Tippett). This means that at his size, he is extremely difficult to spoil because he marks the ball it it's highest point. Left footer so turns the opponents inside out a lot. Not afraid to get his knees and hands dirty by hunting the ball at ground level.
When you take everything into account, this kid will be a gun in 4-5 years time. If Francis is gone at 9, then I want this kid. Even if Francis is there, I am thinking it would be a difficult decision for the club to make.
I suspect Carlton are a certainty to take him at 8. Not great for him to go to a club like Carlton in terms of his development. I think he would absolutely flourish at our club with the development program and reserves side we have in place.
As a marking target up forward McKay is more an athletic mark than a power mark. He can take marks on the lead and on occasions leaping marks overhead, he can take some contested marks but generally as a lighter body is only average in 1v1 contests. For scoreboard impact McKay when played permanently forward is reasonably good but not outstanding.
McKay through the second half of the season played more ruck minutes and for me struggled to have any impact, losing more ruck contests than he was winning and while he covers the ground well his impact through the ruck was poor overall, with his final v Oakleigh particularly ordinary
Certainly, at 17 years old and a lightly framed key forward, it’s clear that he’s only going to show glimpses for this part of his development. Yet still, he’s only kicked more than two goals in a game twice this year in the TAC Cup.
He kicked 19.13 over 13 games, which is not ideal for a talented key forward. His kicking efficiency as a whole is not great, which is a worry for someone who seems so skilful.
McKay has struggled to leave his mark on the game, week-in, week-out. He’s still probably two or three years off being the size he needs to be to exert his dominance on the contest. Yet with his physical traits, recruiters would have liked to have seen him show a bit of consistency, especially if they were keen to draft him inside the first 15 picks.
McKay’s got plenty of upside, but at the moment, his lack of consistency and poor kicking prove to be serious risks
McKay looks more likely to be a complimentary forward rather than a 50-60 goal a year threat at his peak.
I tend to agree that we would pick H McKay over Francis and I would be OK with that.Definitely a chance we take H McKay over Francis = bigfooty melt , I would prefer Francis if it came to that but I wouldn't be overly disappointed at all
Got a theory that sometimes when a player is in your backyard you end up seeing more of the negatives as you know them inside out . Think this was the case with durdin but then again not with smith
