We deserved the loss I shudder to say - our lack of composure, and skill by hand was the lesser of two teams today. Hope there is some real and honest review done during the week.

Time to call it what it is, we are simply not good enough, just making up the numbers. We need to review our recruiting, our coaching & our poor bloody skills. That was so hard to watch, as our midfield was ineffective & forward line non existent & the same players making dumb mistakes over & over & not learning at all.

Need some big changes in our womens team,I keep watching and hoping but really no composure.Grace is no longer good enough for center, need someone who will attack the ball.
We need younger players who can run. Also maybe a new coach
Egan can't kick or handball, her only redeeming feature is her bustle around the ball - she needs to be a tagger on a player like West (today).

Grieser had very little influence. Ellie, as great as she is, wasn't influential enough and struggled for composure. Dallaway had a really mixed game, in it at times and making poor decisions at other times. Hawks seemed to have Sheerin's measure, and while OK, nothing quite like her usual form.

Kudos to Lynch and Seymour who kept attaching from the back half. Demps played really smart, Lavey tried, and Shevlin was in and out of the game and seemed to struggle being out of position too much today.

Maybe the stop, start crap with the tribunal and appeal had an influence.

Not sure Ryan has the pace to compete. Sat out nearly half the game only played 54%.

The way Ford handballs forward is bloody terrible and I’m sorry I know Tessa Lavey is popular but she’s not a footballer. She’s got good running ability and vision but she doesn’t win contested ball and her passing isn’t good enough.

The Grieser dropped overhead mark from the Brennan pass in the last quarter pretty much summed up her day.
Got to some good spots but lacked the polish.
Lynch and Shevlin got forward and where dangerous and it paid off.
We have to do more of that.

We really are about 20 (another 2-3 per game) goals short for the season of where we need to be to compete and win against the top four.

There’s a good chance we’ll be playing Hawthorn again in two weeks we aren’t likely to beat them with less than ten shots at goal for the game
