Pav is so careful not to sound pro freo he goes the other way. Mooney meanwhile, actively on the mark cheering for the Kangas against us.

Yeah idk what went on for Darlings first few shots on goal being on the other side of the goal. First one looked like a clean spoil easily but they paid the mark? Second one apparently in the back but I didn’t see it so no comment. And cox was definitely pushed in the back for hours third one.

Still though, darling and Allen destroyed cox and Pearce early on.

Been a fan of Henry and still feel he's been a scapegoat but it's a struggle to defend today.

Shame because it's between the ears atm. He has the tools to make up for a lack of physicality but seemingly just can't get it done.

But thats just it. I dont think he has the tools. He is not fast, in fact he could be the slowest in the team. He is not big nor strong. He doesnt have an elite kick, has no penetration and is hopeless shooting for goals. His awareness of time and space is also poor. I just dont see what there is to work with. Compare that with the blank canvass that is Brandon Walker, he could be anything. The other thing I dont think it is is between the ears. The kid has always believed in himself, Im just not sure he actually is that good at this level. I wouldnt give up entirely, he is young but I dont feel he deserves to be in our best 22 just yet. You just cant have a guy that small without having speed or talent.
I hope Im wrong, I hate to critique our own players.
I once said a young Allan Border would never make it so theres still hope for Liam.

Yes. All the reports of his ‘elite kicking talent’ from juniors and outside etc etc. there’s a lot of smoke there so maybe there’s some fire? Is everyone just jumping on a bandwagon? I haven’t seen much yet.

Was working during the game so watching the replay now. The faster game style by West Coast is a plus but the old timers can’t keep up, not surprised by the injuries.

Only on the third quarter but so far I feel the Tabs hate is a bit much.

Amiss presenting himself further up the ground is a massive plus.

I like the Jager forward half/mid rotation just imagine if he alternated with Fyfe.

All for developing players, however players have to show there’s an improvement, optimism for the future. Just can’t see it for Henry. Don’t know what it is. Is it that he thinks he’s better then what he really is, and plays like it? The slow decision making is horrendous. Disposal when he does make one is terrible. Goal kicking isn’t flash. He has to provide glimpses and consistency because youngsters around the league don’t just debut, they often come in and change the team.

If that’s the case, then much rather Walker in who’s capable of exploding, taking the game on and a solid kick. Would be a brilliant wing.

Hard to argue that Hughes should be dropped when he has been a competent performer v Henry. Just can’t

Broke even.. but against a less experienced and stellar midfield.

Gibney dragged them through that third quarter, and at one stage fended off JOM for a centre clearance.

Corey really needs to instruct the midfield to go towards Darcy- under his feet, rather then AWAY from the stoppage. So often he taps it down only for hardly any Fremantle players within the ball.

Feel like adding a Fyfe/JOM forward midfield rotation would be significant.
