I somwetimes feel for him being only captain in 1 of our worst years having having his only down year as well. Deserved better then that.Mundy should be elected president of Fremantle.
But sometimes it turns out that way.

It is easy to write this after a loss, but I really see no movement on the same issues that everyone, myself included, had with the last few years. We are still a really heavily defensive focused team that struggles to score.
The absolute worst thing about modern football is how goals are treated almost disdainfully as this mere byproduct of handwork elsewhere on the field and nothing more.It is easy to write this after a loss, but I really see no movement on the same issues that everyone, myself included, had with the last few years. We are still a really heavily defensive focused team that struggles to score. It's only really the method of movement out of the back half that has changed for the better. After we're out, we really seem to be taking our time and allowing the opposition to set up more than before. Using the corridor less to my eye as well. There is obviously a retain posession focus but so far it doesn't really seem to be impacting results. Forward entries terrible, partially from a result of taking too long to get there. The other bit of it seems to be structural and leading pattern related.
Suspect we thought the talent we traded for would deliver when clearly the majority did not.I'd like to pose a legitimate question, and in no way should it be viewed as a blight on our former coach - I, for one, greatly appreciate the sustained success he instilled at the club (for a period). My question is: How, exactly, could Ross Lyon pledge to deliver a premiership to the Fremantle faithful by the close of 2020?
With the rebuild being commenced in 2016, the ensuing age profile of the squad by 2020, just simply does not logically allow for such success. Now it's easy to respond by stating that Lyon conjured up such a grandiose ideal, on account of being self serving, in a bid to extend his coaching tenure, but I'm looking for a deeper answer. Anyways, it's plainly clear that this team as it currently stands, is at least two years off contending for a top four position.

Yeh, I’m regretting putting $100 on us to win the flag this year during the week.Man this place gets depressing real quick.
‘Young team that just won 4 games on the trot (I’ll die on that Carlton game hill), has an off week against grand finalists who have been smashed in the media all week and have everything to play for.’
Wouldn’t read about it...
Was at a mates birthday so only saw snippets but lessons seem to be
1) Even gun young kids can’t back it up week after week
2) We won’t be top 4 any time soon without at least 2 of our best 3 KPD ready and available
3) Forwardline needs a lot of work still. Think the coach MIGHT need a bit more than half season to solve ALL the issues at once.
Every team has bad games here and there, especially this year. It’s never has bad or as good as it seems.

Full list available transforms this team. I would be disappointed if we had that and weren't contending, regardless of the coach.I'd like to pose a legitimate question, and in no way should it be viewed as a blight on our former coach - I, for one, greatly appreciate the sustained success he instilled at the club (for a period). Why only play the future now?Freo were quite competitive when we weren't missing so many key players to injury.
This game was coming. We are cooked. There isn't any run in their legs and we now get on a plane to practically immediately play where we will be even worse.
Season is over, time to play everyone else and see what they've got. Leno Thomas, Luke Valente, Lloyd Meek, Jarvis Pina.
Are you sure your not a Fremantle supporter?, the amount of time you spend on the Fremantle boards is incredible. Why only play the future now?
Those kids should have already been playing
I think Justin legitimately thought we were a chance to topple the Giants, and rightly so, as our defence has been gargantuan of late. I think you'll see more youth blooded in the coming weeks. Why only play the future now?
Those kids should have already been playing
It is no new news i grew up in Freo area, i just didn't switch teamsAre you sure your not a Fremantle supporter?, the amount of time you spend on the Fremantle boards is incredible.
Because then the average age of our team would be about 8 years younger on average than your mob. Kids don't learn anything if they get absolutely spanked every week, week after week. You have to get the balance right. Those kids should have already been playing
Valente and Meek i am most looking forward to seeing! Are you sure your not a Fremantle supporter?, the amount of time you spend on the Fremantle boards is incredible.
We give them a pretty good run, they may well be underdone when you play themI just remembered we have to play the Tigers in 4 days. If you thought this was bad...
I want to see Leno Thomas!!Valente and Meek i am most looking forward to seeing!
At least we can watch our team play two games in a week - silver linings, right?I just remembered we have to play the Tigers in 4 days. If you thought this was bad...
