So is Darcy Moore eligible to be picked up in nov 2013 draft and play in 2014 or get picked up in the nov 2014 draft and play in 2015? Isn't he in the tac cup this year?

Draft 2014 play 2015. He is u/16 they rarely play tac cup, next year.
Would be worth turning up early to a chargers game this year, word is he dominates his age group. Will be more exciting next year when he plays tac cup & possibly Nat champs as an underager, for now he is just a warm gooey guilty pleasure.

Hasn't he been Dominating his Age group for a Few Years?

Wouldn't he play in U-16 Champs this year?

Where would he be Rated in the 2014 Draft Class?

Dave... Are you serious? It is 2012... You are asking a question about the 2014 draft class...

Chances are even if someone does give you an answer, that won't be the same 'rating' as next year, or the year after...

I think we have some interesting opportunities coming up in the next few years.

2012 Draft: James Stewart (F/S) and Jed Hillman (NSW) are both draftable. Not sure what size Hillman is these days, but Stewart is definitely key position height.
2013 Draft: John Haggerty (NSW) becomes draftable. By now he would also be key position size, as Hine mentioned he was 195-196cm now.
2014 Draft: Darcy Moore (F/S) becomes draftable. Similar size to James Stewart already. Should be a big lad.

So in addition to the young KPPs we already have in Reid, Brown, Keeffe, Witts, and to a lesser extent Dawes and Cloke (you could even throw in Hartley, Gault and Ceglar potentially) we have the opportunity to bring in some talented talls at a discount. On the other hand, if we use early picks on, say, Stewart and Moore, but they don't pan out, we might be struggling for depth and at the same time have robbed ourselves of midfield depth.

Pretty important that we get these picks right, and while I hope they're guns and make the decision dead easy, the likelihood is we'll have to weigh up whether the going rate is reasonable for their ability. We can't afford to overpay based upon loyalty.

Yeah are some very nice looking KPP Prospect we have Lined up.

Don't Forget Edwards in 2013 Draft who is the Total Opposite

Don't know either but he is u/17 and small so may just be leaving him until next year.

Well it could be but the Article early in the season made it sound he was a Certainty and he still could play a game or 2 in Melbourne

With blair sinclair elliot fasolo ugle didak dont we already have too many (very) smalls running around to include a SUPER small in edwards.

Not sure if his what collingwood need, and disappointing his not playing for nsw

In 5 years time when we we'd be hoping for this guy to make the grade, how many of the above 6 will still be on our list and playing as small forwards?

Blair sinclair fasolo ugle elliot will all play small forward with rotations in the midfield (assuming ugle makes it, which his a decent chance to). Only didak will be gone, plus we could get another small forward to add to that list in the next few drafts.

In 5 years time, Fasolo and Blair should be playing full time midfield with the departure of Ball, Swan, Johnson, Didak.

Elliot you would expect to be playing the role Fasolo is at the moment... Ugle I don't think will make it but if he does, yes he will probably be full time small forward... Which leaves Sinclair - could be anything, probably a fwd mid though, but if he built up a bit more strength I would love him to become a small defender like Nick Smith.

Edwards would slot on nicely with Ugle - they can be the next Garlett and Betts. Nom nom

Trying to speculate what we will or won't need in the future will drive you crazy. Although it is fun lol. This year will be hard to judge Edwards as it looks like he will only be playing school football. As far as where he sits on our list I'm not concerned by that as he won't actually take up a list spot as a NSW rookie. If we have other players in his role then you hope he turns out better than them and that's a win. I wouldn't compare him to any of the guys listed though, he is pure silk.
IMO only question is is he good enough to play AFL footy? That doesnt have to be answered for over 12 months by which time you would hope he has a season of TAC cup for Sandy and a National Champs for NSW to judge him by.
