Gallucci and Atkins commit until 2020

I'll be in the minority with this but I won't be fussed if Lynch goes.
Depending how Fogarty develops, it may be a smart time to get trade value for him with a great draft ahead. Would need to be in our favour though.

Creative thinking - I like it and if we were Collingwood or Saints go for it...but in a flag window I wouldn't unless we can be sure of a replacement. He is part of our greatest asset (fwd line)

Having said that, let's do it for JJ if a top 10 is presented (unlikely)

This is wonderful news but will be cause of frustration to many others who want Atkins traded.
Rat can be a frustration but he's yet to blossom. He's so silky, probably one of our most talented. Jenkins is the one who I'd trade, He has peaked.

Some serious underrating of Lynch's value to the Adelaide forward line going on here. One of the very best link players in the AFL with a super tank.

Ranked #8 in the AFL for score involvements per game.
Ranked #10 in the AFL for marks per game

I wasn't saying I was for trading Lynch. My preference is to keep him, as he is elite at what he does.

Just saying that if we have a younger player such as Fogerty come on quicker than expected than can fill the void, we may be best getting good trade value for Lynch for a top young talent to replenish our list & free up cap space for others such as Sloane.

I think he will stay & that is a good thing... particularly if we don't have a readymade replacement as we want to keep challenging.

Same with JJ, as we don't have a decent replacement for him at the moment... So would only trade if someone like Himmilberg comes on in a big way.

my view is that our crew forward of the ball are great at adding goals when we're already winning. But going in with 6 actual forwards that are shit when we're gong bad in the midfield is counter-productive to us ascending the throne. We need to drop one of our forwards and replace them with a midfielder. Lynch is my choice, I've come to the conclusion that he is a downhill skiier.

Bicks will know, but wasn't Gallucci known for his contested mark in the under-age ranks?

For his size I was under the impression he liked to take the odd hanger?

Surely a quick, aggressive young player with good speed, good skills, that can take a grab... Would fit into the small forward role with Betts pretty well?

If we are saying he is replacing CC, then that is a few ticks. Cameron was more explosive in his pace, and very aggressive in his tackling but was not even an average disposer... And had no natural game sense. Which actually says a lot about CC's potential to improve, but also means adding someone like Gallucci might be an improvement over our 2017 forwards.

Correct, also an elite volleyballer, set the record for the standing vertical jump 89cm at the National Draft Combine in 2016. Also the quickest in the repeat sprints in 2016

He took a great grab in his one game

He's great during the minor round but doesn't touch the ball in finals
He had 25 disposals, 10 marks and 6 score involvements against GWS, 20 disposals, 7 marks, 10 score involvements and 2 goals against Geelong and 18 disposals, 5 marks and 4 score involvements in the GF. His averages for the year are 20 disposals, 7 marks and 8 score involvements.

It's harsh but really they're it. We have run rampant in some home finals though.

And therein lies the difficulty. What's three games in three years? Surely that's too small a sample size to count. Or it's the only thing that counts.

And 441m gained.

When we struggle, Lynch is not one of the players that stand up.

Though barely anyone else does either, except for Matt Crouch
