CEY is a deadset liability around the ground. Love some of his inside work, but he's genuinely worse than what Thommo was.

He is simply not up to it. Sorry but he most likely needs to be delisted at the end of the year and we start getting games into Wilson or the likes.

Only played 15 games yes, but it's a mindset and a mental thing, which is never ever going to change. He's either not fit enough or doesn't care.

Unbelievable he's still in the side over Hampton or Gallucci.

Pretty much that. For a depth pure inside, he's a solid option (and one I'd be happy to retain) but he simply doesn't have the game to do anything else.

I reckon Gibson was taken on for two reasons:
1) for his professionalism/preparation, fitness and team-first ethic (good example to younger players)
2) as depth, and to come into the side if we needed a scraggy run-with tagger. Remember, he towelled up Sloane last year.
That second role was derailed by all of our injuries plus his own. Gee, thanks again, Hass . He's been forced to play as an experienced, two-way runner, which would be fantastic if his disposals were better. Not top 6 in our current side, but not bottom 6 either.

While CEY has only played 25 games, I don't see any development left in him whatsoever. He's 25 years old and has been on our list and in our system for 8 years. He's only missed one year with injury. This is as good as it gets.

Unfortunately for Cam he has funadmental physical deficienies that limit his speed, but he also does not have the skills or game awareness to overcome this.

At least Greenwood gets forward and kicks goals, and you see him making those acts of desperation. We already know that fit Crouch is one of our better 2 way players, despite his lack of pace.

- The ball equally between the Freo player and Mackay, Mackay slows to let the FREO player get the ball first and then gets brushed off with the tackle. Worse than the fumble goal last week. Not good enough.

It's actually depressing to watch, seeing such a clean and efficient unit last year be reduced to this pile of crap. No one looks like they have the faintest idea what the hell is going on back there.

Our midfield coverage is crap, I know, but the defence just looks so disorganised. Like, we have such a talented intercept player in Doedee on our hands, and yet how many times have we soon Doedee loose and playing as the +1 this year?

I count a total of zero! We should be thankful that he is such a talented player 1v1, as he is at other aspects, but when teams are getting this run on, why are we not moving the magnets around to get him loose and start repelling all these inside 50s?

Greenwood is the icing on the cake. He is a 20 possession, 1 goal a game player. He isnt ever going to carry your midfield.
CEY is a decent depth player. Same as Otten. So as far as CEY, he is doing his job. When everyones fit and firing, he is in the SANFL.
CEY isnt the problem.

Our midfield mix is just completely wrong, watching from up high today we just got killed on the spread. CEY, Greenwood, Crouch, Douglas, once the ball leaves the stoppage they're useless, the amount of times they were jogging 20m behind their opponent was laughable. Sloane is prob our only mid who runs as hard defensively as he does forward. Our backs must be furious with them, as they look like the ones all out of position when in fact the Midfield have sold them up the ******* river without a paddle in sight.

This has always been my reasoning for not wanting CEY in the side. He doesn’t run back at all. Calling it a jog would be kind. Pathetic footballer.

Douglas isn’t much better but isn’t a full time mid.

Poholke was fantastic for his 6th game.

I reckon he’s going to develop into a nice solid contested mid who can kick goals. Like a Luke Parker kind of guy, your 3rd or 4th best mid in a very good team.

It's not even would directly, they have cost us a premiership. That was the price for our salary cap cheating as the biggest issue we ended up facing against Richmond was purely they had too many top tier talents compared to us (and of course, the more top tier talents you have, the more pressure is required to break a side).

Nail two firsts (and you wouldn't bet against our track record to do just that), and that is potentially a lot different.

Not just two firsts, two seconds and another first we would have got for Tippett.

Imagine the GF side with 3 first rounders and a couple of 2nd rounders inserted. heck you Trigg.

I was still well aware of his limitations and the negative influence he was having on the overall side.
