Poholke. Don't want to destroy him but please never play him again.
Jones did some good things but looks lost and panics at times. Needs to hit the gym as a priority. Has a fairly long way to go but something there to persist with.
Kelly. Usual shit. Needs to be traded.
Hartigan needs to be traded if we bring in a better back through trade or draft.
Talia and Brown a bit underwhelming but did their job . Need a bit more.
Himmelberg still looks slow out there. I don't know if he will make it. Please draft McDonald.
BCrouch. Did ok but a bit ineffectual.

Derwayne going real quiet when it appeared we were going to win. He was getting more excited and talking about a comeback by the Hawks constantly. Picking out Hawks frees all game. But when the Crows were dominating play he was as quiet as powa supporters in the 2007 GF.

Seriously though it was a great team effort. Good to see a few of the young fellas snag a few. And also good to see a few of our more maligned guys have good games (Murphy, Hartigan).

I especially enjoyed the song at the end, even though they were clearly out of practice.

I don’t want to see Poholke again at afl level and I hope he isn’t on the list next year. I watch all the sanfl games too. He is too slow by physically and mentally for afl level. He is a good sanfl player because the game is slower, but unlike other slow players, he is a slow decision maker too.

I wouldn't get carried away with that win. It was great to finally get the monkey off the back but hawks are a rabble. The positives were the kids. Great effort by them. Club needs a massive offseason in trade and draft.

I dont think anyone is getting carried away with what it means for the future..... but its a ****load better than losing

That is by far the best game Elliot Himmelberg has played for this club. Was fantastic.

Really good post overall, just nit-picking about Himmelberg. He contests hard which is really good, but those marks in the F50 aren't helping at all if he misses those goals and they go end-to-end for a goal (happens once or twice a game).

Loved these comments about Jones:

... and yet the play I really want to highlight was none of that. It was when he laid out the Hawks kid in the first with a bone crushing bump. To do that to a player of a side who have (deservedly) treated Adelaide with contempt in the past 15 years and from a player who has truly struggled this year was hopefully Chayces line in the sand moment.

I hope so, and that he gets a lot of confidence from tonight.
