Ah yeh bit of a trap there.
That is NOT a player issue guernsey.
A player issue guernsey will always have a sublimated number with the AFL logo on it.
That guernsey is no different to what you would buy at your local sports store.

Yea I had to dig a little deeper into those pockets then I would've liked but once I started bidding I couldn't bring myself to stop lol.. I guess I can now dip into my GF fund and hopefully pick up a few more items in their 'end of year' auctions..

Haha ah the memories! I have a couple of those mugs sitting in a box out in the shed! My family were pretty Ablett-centric back in the day but still i dont know what possessed us to buy these monstrosities, theyre shocking!! Agree that theyre oddly disturbing lol. Can't bring myself to tossing anything gazza or geelong related in the bin though

Anyone seen the Scarlo lithograph going at the Cats Shop at the moment?
$795 seems awfully steep, but at least it's only limited to 50 which goes a little way to justifying the price.

Have the rough copy, maybe the only copy, with corrections etc. 8 A4 pages of Tom Harley's speech post 2007 flag - assume it was made on Carji Greeves night.. Not looking to sell, just curious as to what it may be worth, if anything ??

Would be worth something to someone no doubt.
Pretty hard to put a dollar figure on those sorts of things.
Personally I'd be trying to get it signed by Tom, that would make it really worth having.

Quite the opposite. It was a Scarlo piece...seeing I missed his signed guernsey through the auctions I thought Id grab this... And the misses helped because it's my birthday Monday

It's an awesome looking piece too.
Love the "action shots", specifically the toe-poke from 09.
I got 'The Greatest Team of All' lithograph for my birthday this year, and that was limited to 100.
Also good that there's really not any other pieces that Scarlo has signed, he seems a bit Ablett Snr in that regard.

Firstly I'd get tom to confirm when the speech was made and then get it framed properly.
i.e. with backing board that won't leach over time.
It costs a fair bit more but its worth it.
I did it with my GA weg original and that thing will now last 100 years.
And then keep it !

Yea have to get those priorities in order.. I've had my house for over a year now and the shed hasn't been touched.. Keep spending my money on guernseys lol.. Now that the seasons over I'm hoping to get stuck into it.. *Cue Geelong October clear out auctions*
