Just a clarification...he's not stepping down for Jeff Browne. He's stepping down...at the end of 2022. No mention of who would replace him.

I still think Browne is planning on challenging this coming AGM.

The Brisbane Lions have today met with midfielder Lachie Neale about his future.

Lions CEO Greg Swann, GM of Football Danny Daly and Senior Coach Chris Fagan sat down with the Brownlow medallist following reports he was seeking to return to Western Australia.

Neale and his wife Jules are expecting their first child and he has confirmed the couple are weighing up where they would like to raise their family.
He did not request a trade but has asked for some time to have further discussions with his wife and family.

Afternoon is still my preferred time slot, last year's Grand Final felt as flat as a tack atmosphere wise.

Also I know it's not possiblu sadly right now, but having or going to friends and family for a pregame BBQ and chinwag is something I have always loved about Grand Final Day.

Little kids as well who are footy fans should be allowed to watch the Grand Final too.

I understand the logistics of having a GF at twilight/night this year cause it's in Perth though.

Fair points, but I am not so much of a traditionalIIt in that I do favour Interstate/Non MCG Grand Finals from time to time as well.
