Xavier O’Halloran supposedly has excellent leadership qualities. Whether that means he is the next Joel Selwood or George Horlin-Smith is what I hope our recruiters can determine.
Bailey Williams might be a reach at 12 however, he is a need and 12 is our only chance to get him.
Riley Collier-Dawkins seems similar to Constable.
I like the look of Jordan Clark off half back. Uses it well and I think has played Senior football this year in WA.

In terms of the draft to me we should be looking at medium forwards, outside mids and maybe a tagger.

Ideally IMO we’d add a
- Steve Johnson type
- Isaac Smith type; and a
- Cameron Ling type

Fogarty might be our future tagger. He seems to have the mentality so maybe unnecessary but I’m not 100% sold.

Murdoch could be our poor mans stopgap Isaac Smith. I really would like someone else long term.

Menzel a stopgap Stevie J. He doesn’t pressure and doesn’t have a lot of footy left though so we need ato find that long term 30-40 goal medium forward.

I’d also be in favour of drafting a ruckmen.

Are they forgetting the many players that dont even consider Geelong but only want Melbourne teams? Best to consider Geelong as a interstate side (which just so happens to have only 1 team in it)

And that is our fault how? Seriously ever since we won all those flags we have been one of the most hated/criticized clubs in the land, not too mention most of our players cop it too by not only opposition supporters but the AFL themselves!!!

Now its done I'd seriously look to trade down either before or on Draft night.

The "great eight" will be long gone by 12 and I'd love two get two of the guys mentioned above rather than just one. We need to re-stock. I'd be asking GWS and WCE (the irony) about their multiple picks under 25.

I dont count Tuohy because he wasn't developed here, im talking about players developed from GFC, Lucey was a failure but we seem to continue to go back, hoping one day we can find ourselves a Kennelly or Stynes among the bunch.

Dont get me wrong I dont have an issue with the club doing it especially if we can get talent, it just seems they like the irish more than anything else, guessing its because our game is so similar to theirs.

The kid is 64kgs, one thing in the past with players unable to gain proper weight.
They either take 6 years to develop or simple don’t make it through lack of size

Daniel Rioli was only 5kg heavier (69kg) at draft time and has gained 7kg in two years, and he's a great player - we need him more for pace and skill, something most forwards at our club lack apart from 3 (Narkle, Cockatoo and JJ)

So this is where we are at and incoming draft picks. I'm taking a guess that we'll use 59,60 on Brownless bids. Also guessing that ZGuthrie remain a rookie for one more year before being upgraded.

Menzel and Murdoch are the last 2 uncontracted players. So we either keep both, or maybe delist one and use pick 70? Not sure.
