However i can remember the vision one year - Geel must have had a player earmarked - and i reckon a club picked him with the pick immediately before the Cats - because Wells looked rattled - and they had a conference - and they picked Jansen - what a disaster

I thought the same the year Sydney picked Zak Jones with the pick before us.

The guys' combine results were the results you want for a tall, tops for run and jump.

I work about 30 metres away from a certain high profile player management group and get a few of the managers and players in from time to time. If I knew I could supplement my income satisfactorily I’d be tapping them on the shoulder to see if I could join them! I have this illusion of helping the Cats out as a scout when I retire on a completely pro bono basis!! They would probably say “thanks but we’re ok”!!

So you work Hawthron/Glenfarie way hahahaha just joking. You'd be surprised how willing they can be for help. If you think about it then it's just more information they can choose to use of ignore. IMHO there is no such thing as too much information as long as you distil it well.

Certainly do. With codeine being re scheduled it’s a lot easier now though. We’ve effectively handballs our problems to the GP’s! (Using footy parlance)

I think it was Nick Robertson who we were linked to prior to the draft. He was taken by Brisbane at pick 34, 2 picks prior us taking Jansen at pick 36. Like Jansen, he was a big 190cm midfielder. Unless we planned on taking Nankervis who went to the Swans at pick 35.

Bailey smith drops to 12 and we take him.

We trade a future R2 to get a pick in the mid/late 20s (gold coast, GWS or Adel maybe) and use that for XOH or McHenry

50 - Bailey Williams

51 - M Pickett (Kelly replacement for 2020 onwards).

Brownless with our last (using 5 picks) or rookie brownless if no one takes him.

I'm preparing to be disappointed.
