Need to add plenty of body size to Alleer and Dean for them to be genuine AFL prospects, is my main question mark as to whether or not they can make the grade, I much prefer Schlensog personally only a year older and has the body to be ready now.

Dean is not a skinny kid go look at his highlights, and who can we get that is going to play 20 games in 2022?, Schlensog would be a rookie pick at best

Isn't it funny how we naturally think we could be "set for x years" when we talk key position, gun midfielder or ruck prospects... but the other positions, we rarely make those long term claims. I guess its all about the spine, then building around it.

Usually when they describe an athletic defender, they're usually bigger than 5, 10. Anyway happy to sign an obviously talented player and hopefully he could be the small defender we've been crying out for.

There are not enough tall, athletic players within the u-18 system. The good ones are gone before we enter the draft. That's why you need to try and find them overseas or from other sports locally. Half backs are dime a dozen.

I’m a Mayo fan and feel physically sick at the news that Oisin is moving to the AFL.
I have no doubt he’s going to be an incredible player for Geelong. He’s a superstar, the best young player in Gaelic football right now.
from a Geelong POV - what a signing. Make no mistake this guy is the real deal. Most Irish players are unknowns to the general sporting public when moving to Australia but not this time. If true it’s a massive news story in Ireland.

We've got Tsapatolis as a Cat B, guessing that with the international recruit though that we really haven't seen as many in either the KPP / ruck mould

He looks like high work rate, good overhead marking, strong and quick, with good skills. Probably only limitation is height at around 5'10 - so what's that 178cm.... Would make a good back pocket I reckon, would be easy for him to transition there.
