Not sure if Hawks need Clark if they think Worpel will get back to his best and that Cooper S will be a long term player for them?

I'm not too wedded Clark, I'm perfectly fine with trading 7 to get something useable for next years draft, if only just to give us some more capital to trade in more mature players next year.
Yup. 👍

Just get the deal done with the Crows. Pick 7 for their future first which on points may seem like a rort but isn’t next years draft supposed to be better? I’m also not sure if they even own a F1

I have a feeling Tsatas may slide on draft day. If that happens I could see saints trying to trade for our pick to get him given they’ve said they’re after run and speed…

Something like 7 and our future first for 9 + saints future first + a future third or something.

We’d still have good players available at 9 that imo are superior to Clark

We can't trade our future first

Based on nothing but gut feel, Hawks take Clark and Cats trade out 7.

I reckon if they do that (ie humphrey and clark 5 and 6) we take either buss or mackenzie at 7 but a trade out is possible.

Closhesy hasn't played football for three years?
Cause that is the only way he can be Cat B isn't it? NGA's are Primary list or Cat A aren't they?

No with nga players if they get bid main draft you have to take them on the primary list but if they get through the main draft with no bid you can auto add them as a cat b rookie.

There was a decent mature KPD in the VFL racking up big stats... What's his name again? and what draft selection is he likely to go at?

Probably not a priority considering we kept Sav.

Ethan phillips.

I thought Ross Lyon preferred slow list cloggers.

Not one of Stephen Wells’ fav hunting grounds?
Not when we have the Falcons wanting to come to us so readily.
We have had a few over the years
Jason Snell
Tim Finocchiaro
James Parsons
And Flynn Kroeger

Surely we take Tsatas if available... Gotta be long odds though to still be on the board at pick #8.

If it happens, yeah I could see teams very keen to try to get our pick.

Tsastis would be the perfect fit for us. He’s a different height to Bruhn and co and he’s got the athletic makeup which I think is just a given now days esp with the way we play. You need speed. He has it.

I like Clark but he’s very average speed and a small. What will the game look like in 5 years. He’ll play 200 games and I’ll be happy with him but Tsastis, Bruhn and Holmes would be a terrific combo. It just seems easier to find 180(ish) mids lower in the draft.

Just not sure why Essendon overlook him. I get how GC and Haw would.

Clark first and foremost. The kid's a star.

Only trade out 7 if he's taken.

Snell had some talent, just extremely unfortunate.

I remember him and Ronnie Burns debuting in the same game v Melbourne where Snell kicked 3 and I thought we had a very good future forward combo..

Add Paul Lynch around that time too, give or take
