Jimmy was 6ft 1.On Jhye Clark, he reminds me a lot of Jimmy Bartel. Can go forward a take an overhead mark. He's more than an inside mid.

Busslinger is surely the second option then? There has to be more upside with him than there is Ratugolea at this point? Gives competition for Sav down back at the very least.I just watched a video with an update from Steve Hocking. There is no way pick 7 will be traded on the night. I know some think we may trade down a bit and into next year if Clark is gone, but I don't think we will.
He was saying Wells is very excited about having a pick so high for the first time in 15-years and that they have their eye on a few players with that pick.
He was really strong on that; it's clear Wells and Mackie will be using pick 7 IMO.

Do you use pick 7 on Busslinger who likely is a mid teens selection a WA boy so there is the risk of the go home factor and I'm not to thrilled about the amount of shoulder strapping he's sporting as a 19year old.Busslinger is surely the second option then? If there was a single non WA club this boy would actually be ok with going to then it would be us. Joel Selwood laid all the ground work already and what’s the worst that can happen? Eagles overpay us for him in two years time so we can land a Hawkins replacement?
I remember the last pick 7 we had with injury concerns prior to being drafted. Only went on to become the greatest Geelong player of all time with 4 premierships.Do you use pick 7 on Busslinger who like is a mid teens selection a WA boy so there is the risk of the go home factor and I'm not to thrilled about the amount of shoulder strapping he's sporting as a 19year old.

It would be very Wells like to take anyone but Clark and lure the boy home laterIf Clark is gone ..it will depend on who has been overlooked .. and who the club rates. Id not be too fussed about what others think a player is worth as we have shown over a number of years we will call it as we see it...
So if Clark is gone.... maybe a player like Tsitas slips thru if so I could not see us going past him. ... but if they think someone like Hotton is the player tehy like ..they will not care how other rate him.

I would. Wouldn't you? It'd be such a Hawthorn thing to watch it blow up in their face though.I would put money on if he is to do a Bruhn/Henry .. after two years it will be to the Pies.
I just wonder with the whole Selwood story Haw P6 and Gee p7 and Hawks over looking him....
Now here were are with a player compared to Selwood in the draft ...Geelong have 7 and Haw have 6 ... what are the odds the Hawks call his name.
My favourite in this draft. Looks an absolute jet.
Like the poker player he's been well known for...?I just watched a video with an update from Steve Hocking. There is no way pick 7 will be traded on the night. I know some think we may trade down a bit and into next year if Clark is gone, but I don't think we will.

Is he?? Isn't he a Cats supporter?? Like Judd's strapping lol??Do you use pick 7 on Busslinger who likely is a mid teens selection a WA boy so there is the risk of the go home factor and I'm not to thrilled about the amount of shoulder strapping he's sporting as a 19year old.
Unfortunately he and his old man are brainwashed Magpie lunatics... lol.It would be very Wells like to take anyone but Clark and lure the boy home later
My order of preference:
1. Ashcroft
2. Wardlaw
3. Sheezel
4. Cadman
5. Phillipou
Gap
6. Clark
7. Humphrey
8. Mackenzie
9. Tsatas
10. Busslinger
11. Ginbey
… anyone else will be extremely disappointing.
Obviously the first 4 are out of reach
FtfyIt would be veryWellsMackie like to take anyone but Clark and lure the boy home later
Had surgery to fix the issue and played half his games with it, has as much upside as anyone in the draft for mine with a good run at it, not sure hed even be there at 7 had he had the full season to show his skills so dont see it as too early myself.Do you use pick 7 on Busslinger who likely is a mid teens selection a WA boy so there is the risk of the go home factor and I'm not to thrilled about the amount of shoulder strapping he's sporting as a 19year old.
To much of a risk for me to throw pick 7 on the table and pretty sure Judd was 3 or 4 years at the Eagles before we seen strapping on him certainly not as a 19 year old anyway.Yes he looks the best tall in this draft but it is rather thin for tall this year around that early pick.Is he?? Isn't he a Cats supporter?? Like Judd's strapping lol??
The best tall defender in the draft says the consensus.
The best tall forward in the comp is going to GWS with the first pick.
It all Depends how MacWells value positions over draft rankings by draft.me.central i guess.
I think whoever we get will be great TBH.
Cheers Bud.
Lacks athleticism. Bust potentialIs he?? Isn't he a Cats supporter?? Like Judd's strapping lol??

All true ... but if I remember Cockatoo had them scambling very late when it was known he would be picked.Draft invites are out and he wasn’t one.
Be very unusual these days in the “made for TV” event for a player to be selected in the top 10 outside of the 12 invited.
It’s basically Cals first 12 picks with Busslinger in and Jefferson out
That’s more than half the draftees available…Lacks athleticism. Bust potential
I think Judd had shoulder surgery as a 17-18 year old… not 100% but pretty sure.To much of a risk for me to throw pick 7 on the table and pretty sure Judd was 3 or 4 years at the Eagles before we seen strapping on him certainly not as a 19 year old anyway.Yes he looks the best tall in this draft but it is rather thin for tall this year around that early pick.
