Oh yeah, I forgot one in putrid. Brodie ******* Smith. If I hear one more person refer to his "Elite Leg" I'm going to jump through this screen and throttle them. Is such a liability with ball in hand but seems to always get a gold pass on this board
Not playing well. Probably coaching has some part to it but has not come back as i had hoped.

What about Hamill? Is he ready? Let's drop the illusion we are going to win the flag and get games into players who will be here next year.

Don't think he's ready. All Otten is doing is keeping the seat warm for Doedee, I'd look to play Hamill and McPherson later in the season

Really? It was that bad?
That's a damning statistic, and it is laziness/lack of intensity.

Correction. It was 33. Still bad enough

The mini ambulance driver's slow motion ramble towards the race, including several changes of direction, was remarkably similar to the path taken for our forward line entries

I thought the first 10 years of our 20 year drought were tough but really the last 10 have been a ***ing nightmare for anyone who is a football purist. I almost dread footy season now knowing how unfulfilling it will be compared to the non-football part of the year.

Of our side that lost to Hawthorn on the 2015 semi final - 15 players remain.

Of the Geelong side that we played 2 week earlier in R23 in 2015 - 5 players remain.

That is all
Who says we can't retain players!

Remember those draft picks we coughed up thanks to Trigg?

That’s what we’re missing.
Pepperidge Farms remembers

I like Jones endeavour. I really do. When it clicks watch out

Don't want to excuse Betts' terrible form. And I think he's close to cooked.

BUT

Adding Stengle into the forward line could do him wonders. Right now, he knows that we have absolutely zero players who can crumb a ground ball and kick a goal other than him, so he has to do everything. The opposition also know this and sit on him hard.

Stengle in gives us that other genuine small crumbing option which gives us creativity and doesn't burden Betts with having to do everything that our other five forwards can't do

The crows aflw and afl are polar opposites. I barrack for winners. Aflw for me. I'm content. My team won the flag this year. Bring on back to back. Hawthorn like.

If Crouch kicks straight Adelaide's list would have hit the lead against Geelong late in the 4th.

But he didn't. And who's to say Geelong wouldn't have repeated exactly what happened after the goal he did kick earlier in the game, ie two centre clearance goals in 30 seconds.

Well well well. Says it all. Honesty wins flags. We have been a very dishonest club for some time. All starts with list management.

This is the week to make about 6 changes to send a strong message!

Won't happen though...
I thought about this on the way home

It wont happen , not because the coach may not do anything , but can you imagine the feedback from the Board?

Don '' Gibbs, Walker , JJ, Mackay and Betts are playing SANFL this week''

Random Board Member '' Wont happen, theres no way we have $2million bucks running our the magoos''

Its not player or coach driven , its dollar driven

The unwillingness of umpire 12 to stop the play, up to and beyond the point where a physio had to get in his face and set him ****ing straight, was an absolute disgrace. He was the one problem umpire all night.

One thing that really annoys me is how much ball we put on a forwards head and not into the space he can lead into.
I reckon I counted 4-5 times the ball could have been put into space in front of a player only for the ball to go sideways and then zip back to Geelongs end

****ing hell.

Nah. Ogilvie would've just picked up a bunch of kids with no composure half of whom would've left by now
Would add in 3 first round picks to Carlton. We are a very wasteful club. Not just in front of goal. The club seems to manage itself based on what they think the supporters would like. Supporters want flags, not ****ing pandering.
