We had an opportunity (as did 17 other clubs) at the start of this year to build a game plan that exploits the new rule changes and adapts to other teams implementing new systems.

Trouble is, when you look at how we play you would honestly think these rules had been introduced on the fly overnight and we were still adjusting to them.

I don't know what the hell the guy (can't remember) was doing running along side him? Maybe they were spent but they should have been pushing hard to get that handball as Jenkins was drawing the player. Jenkins has the right idea but the guy wasn't on the same wave length.

Greenwood would not have allowed Dangerfield to get off the leash like he did. And our backline (apart from Keath) has gone backwards.

Jenkins has never been instinctive with his forward positioning. He’s not a footballer, it’s not in him.

Which is fine, you can get around that, you can learn some forward movement by rote, if you have a good forward coach.

When was the move?

I first realised Seeds was up forward in the second quarter and he did nothing.

He moved to wing in the third and he had his best quarter.

As for why not? He ain’t a forward and we need him delivering to our forwards. How about a move to half back?

Hamill And Scholl were both very good last week. If they can back it up this week then why the **** not.

If we had Geelong selection committee, hamill would come in for Seedsman next week. Adelaides selection committee will rush Douglas back.

Plus our forward line is mostly full of guys past it and soft. None crunch a pack.

Jenkins plays from behind when he’s a gorilla who if he led would be hard to stop.

Tex unfortunately is past it.
Betts unfortunately is past it.

We won’t make the tough call on either and we will flounder all year.

Greenwood should have played, he offers something different and he’s ******* hungry. We got too cute with this fitness bullshit. We’d rather keep Mackay in and play Seeds up forward instead.

Lets be honest now JJ has limitation and that is he isn't that good he is serviceable if the heat is off him with tex copping it, but if tex is off then JJ is in trouble, he is handy when we have the quality forward as he is hard to match up on size wise
