Liked it in the 1st when Zorko gave Pedlar a bit of coat hanger then gave it to Peds on the deck. I don't mind the Brions, but Zorko is a bit of flog though

And Peds didn't react, just got up and went back and slotted the goal

Peds is superb doesn’t even celebrate his awesome goals

His coaching has improved but he’s clearly made errors, he admitted to one just a few weeks back, then he backed it up with Crouch as sub. Overall his use of the sub has been poor.

We had a great win but let’s be honest, Brisbane shot themselves in the foot with their goal kicking, we were smashed in inside 50s there for quite awhile. We did very well to pull out the win and it was great to be on the other side this time.

He was very very good a couple of years ago. Think he had an injury interrupted pre season. He'll be a gun.

You have to reward the body of work that McHendry have put together, he's not put a foot wrong as the sub and he's played well when given the opportunity.

Murphy hasn't been amazing culminating in probably his worse game of the season.

I just think you have to reward him for selection integrity reasons.

Nah, he did as much in a full game as he was able to accomplish as a sub. He isn't a bad player, but he has a ceiling and he has reached it where he doesn't offer enough for the role we need which makes him a good 23rd, 24th man. We have players that offer much more. If we can work in Berry when he finds his game, Hinge back from Injury, McAdam will force his way in. Parnell proves his worth and was unlucky to be relegated to sub. Smith will come back in. I just dont see McHenry being close to someone we need when we have better calibre players coming back.

Every coach makes errors as long as he acknowledges and improves, I think it’s clear he’s doing a very good job

He’s winning over a few of the players , I know that

Whipping boys Milera and Keays huge in that win.

Lots of players played well today, thought Sloane was poor for 3 quarters but really turned it on in the last when it was there to be won.

Huge win in the context of season if we want to play finals given how close it is on the ladder with sides like Freo, Gold Coast and Essendon joining the charge for a spot in the 8.

We were swamped early as Brisbane countered our regular game plan. Playing cute football kept Brisbane in the game as well and his failure to remove the 2nd quarter dead time slowdown from our gameplan is an indictment of Nicks as a Coach. He does a lot right but he equally continues to do a lot wrong. I dont expect perfection but damn, learn from the mistakes of the past. Make new mistakes not repeat the same glaring old ones.

I can ....Gold Coast didn't like that good .....their Midfield pretty much runs a permanent 4 in CBA's

We matchup really well, their DEF is their weakness .....and we can win in the midfield, batting deeper

Yes but to some on here he makes no errors even when he admits to it. They then have the gall to have cracks for actually pointing them out.

He’s definitely improving, he’s got the players on board, he has them playing some great football. I wonder though had Dawson not asked to play midfield, how we would be travelling right now? Kudos for taking the suggestion on board and not being stubborn

IMO Hinge & Smith deserve to come back in .....as a critic of Smiths 2021 & early season form, I must say he now looks really engaged with the team ....and is back giving 100%

Will make Worrell holding his spot difficult ....Ned / Parnell out, might see Worrell as SUB

No way should we be dropping Worrell.

Imagine a backline of

Doedee, Butts, Murray
Max, Worrell, Hinge

That looks like a tight backline.

You then have Smith, Milera and Jones to supplemet that group and give players a chop out and provide flexibility depending on matchups.

Hinge, Milera, Smith and Jones can all play wing as well.

Doedee.and Worrell can both intercept and Max for a tight checking player is surprisingly good at this too.

Hinge and Max can play on multiple sizes.

Worell, Milera, Hinge, Smith and Max can all deliver the ball well.

The only thing missing is true run and carry.

That just seems our best defensive and most flexible lineup with the right amount of attack and drive.

Tell me I'm wrong.
