Agree on Milera. Not sure what Milera offers the team.
Rachele needs to pull his head in.
A couple of his errors by foot really stuck out to me, just as much as the poor kicking for goal. He doesn't get enough of it, and often burns it.

ROB can f*** off.52 to 28 hitouts and smashed in clearances.
I would have thrown Hinge in the middle, kicking into our forward line was crap easy for the Pies to defend a mongrel ball along the ground would have been harder to defend.Tonight reinforced we don't have the impact midfield or burst pkayer. Wish they would try Milera (who was awful) or Doedee or Pedlar or FOG more often to get them developed as a pinch hitter. Tonight the Laird, Dawson, Sloane, Rachelle combo in the centre just didn't work in the last. Nicks was devoid of other options
It's been overlooked because of the run of green we otherwise received, especially in the last. The non-frees to Murphy and Johnson were s**t that wouldn't be missed in U9s.
Was more annoyed at the Tex one. He can kick goals from long range so why is he attempting a short pass to a player with a man on him, in wet conditions?I actually wanted Rankine to just take that shot, he kicks that almost every single time. Soligo should have still kicked it, but Rankine on that type of angle is almost just write it down stuff.
there’s no misinterpreting your below statement.Just read properly next time, this is the 2nd time you've dug up old posts of mine and interpret them incorrect. Maybe you are unemployed and old ....seem like Southerntakeover hates them or he is just projecting
If you can’t judge them by their 7th season of football when can you? That should have been potential which is why I included the others, you can't judge them when they are that young. Anybody with basic football knowledge know this, don't you????
Saints are doing same , good entree for 2 weeks timeCollingwood played exactly like the Hawks last week. All 18 player in the Crows half and 12 in the 50meter arc. They then spread with speed in waves to get the ball to their fwdsor run it the full length of the ground
What a disaster that contract has been, no hindsight - plenty called out at the time on how stupid it was.
He could come in for milera
Parnell likely ahead given form today
Soligo was one of our better players for 2nd week in a row , is in his second season and played 90% TOG by time he was subbed ( he shouldn’t have been subbed )Soligo has now had 3 sub-par games in a row, he's not at the pace of the game when the pressure is high, he's a step behind everyone around him and it showed up for the second week running in his poor disposal and slow decision making - I think he broke the club smothered record today. He's really sliding into the second year blues quickly. I would have subbed him off too if not for Milera demanding it more.
Speaking of, that last quarter is reason enough alone to tear up Milera's contract. Diabolical.
Michalanney best on for us, the only player to both consistently beat his man all 4 quarters and also not cough the ball up by foot repeatedly.
Having now drawn the gaze of all in the midfield, Dawson now has the next 5-10 weeks to learn how to deal with that attention, and hopefully we don't gut out and flick him off to a flank again, because it's important he breaks through that roadblock.
He’d be testing patience by nowI’ve got an ugly feeling that Milera has become the new “David Mackay”. And given he is on a five year contract, they won’t want to drop him.
Lead team in score involvements this weekHe was poor both weeks, slow decisions and average use despite getting more of the ball than the 4 touch Carlton outing.
Getting 25 touches doesn't mean much if you have no impact with the disposals, and he really hasn't all season.
Can’t believe people last 2 weeks talking up BillyThe only person Billy beats is himself.
The only impact he had tonight was a cheap free kick for a goal (when all of that incidental ruck holding was basically ignored all night)
He was a spud with the Power, a bigger spud with us, and yes he still is a spud.
Mackay was a better footballer than Milera.I’ve got an ugly feeling that Milera has become the new “David Mackay”. And given he is on a five year contract, they won’t want to drop him.
It is solely the reason we gave the game to them...nothing else matters had we been 10-3 instead of 3-10 missing a number of relatively routine shots at goalI’m still fukcing pissed off at our goalkicking
When they reach their prime, the discussion was who would have replaced our A grade players when they retire.there’s no misinterpreting your below statement.
You included Laird as an a grade talent and you included a 25yo in a 21-24 age bracket even though you asked who has called him one?
You then proceeded to call him young not realizing he was actually in his 7th year of afl.

We lost after leading 3-10 to 0.2, what did you expect? A hug?Farking LOL
I’ve just had a quick read through this thread.
Did we just get smashed by a bottom side or something?
