Take the 4 points and move on. We will not be beating Collingwood or Geelong in the next fortnight.

Each game is irrelevant to the next game.

The past two years the games against Collingwood at Adelaide Oval have gone down to the wire (less than a kick in it). Next week will be no different.

Interesting stat - Hawks had their highest pressure rating for a match since 2018.

They smelled blood

Mitchell probably had our record in Tasmania plastered all over the changerooms

imagine watching that and then bagging soligo haha
Yep I reckon he was our best for 4 quarter effort easily. 8 Clearances....4 Centre Clearances beating every mid on the ground, 635 metres gained our best.

I think that tells us plenty about the Wabbit from Arnhem Land

Good:
  • Fogarty kicking a drop punt match winner from the boundary line
  • Walker finally kicking straight, Sloane played well, Soligo bounced back strong, Laird.
  • Rachele's first half
  • Pedlar's first half
  • Michalanney had 9 tackles

Bad
  • ROB. Who is Ned Reeves and how did ROB lose to him
  • Dawson's second half. There was a period of time, where he fumbled everything in the centre and got himself tackled, lost the ball and Hawthorn went forward
  • McHenry as sub didn't impact the game when everyone was exhausted from tackling

Ugly
  • Keays was ineffective in whatever role he was playing
  • Jones. Disappointing game after 2 really strong performances. Could be first in line to be dropped.
  • 88 vs 75 tackles says it all. Difficult game to watch and lucky to get away with the win.

They saw this as an opportunity for a win pre-game. Came with a plan. We let them off the hook in the second quarter and they smelled blood in the water.

He picked the absolute worst option available, it was incredibly stupid. He had more time available, and could have run around and drawn some players to make a free if there wasn't one behind him - and I'm sure there was given all the Hawks ran into our forward line.
You must be really really disappointed we got the win....

Good:

Win when we play average and they play well. We're not a top side and can't expect to beat every team below us comfortably.

Hawks were pretty good. Barely gave us an inch at the stoppage and tackling was first class. Didn't let us get a quick handball out. They also did well on the rebound. Credit to them. Didn't play like a bottom team after the 1st quarter.

Walker and Fogarty probably bog despite being beaten in d50 in the air.

Michalanney again. Will he ever gave a bag kicked on him? Played very well defensively this week. Not much offensively this week.

Hard to pick winners this week. Lots of good and bad.

Pedlar had a decent game. He's a midfielder for certain. Crazy intensity at the contest. Fun to watch. Will get suspended a lot.

Bad :

Midfield I feel got torched a bit by a pretty average midfield. No real winners there. Even Dawson struggled at the contest.

Forwards struggled in the air for the most part. Their kpds did well when we didn't have time and space.

Doedee average after a very good game last week.

be biased, be emotional, be angry but don't be stupid NT rabbitt

soligo was huge, what a comeback from last week

would love to see soligo and sloane at pointy end of coaches votes

the old and the young

Apparently played their highest pressure game rating in 5 years, you bet they came to Tassie to beat us and throw everything at winning the game.

This was their GF.

Very true friend. Will be interesting to see if they bring the same level of “pressure” when we (WCE) play them there. That is a game that they are most capable of winning… if they are serious.
