You did write us off early in the game

One thing i've noticed in both games is we are fit as hell. I hate to say this but there running power reminds me of port in 2013-2014. I think were going to over run a fair few teams this year.
Your point is right. The big picture point. That was game over against a good team
It was Crows Losing Finals 101
We were just fortunate that the Hawks of 2017 aren't the Hawks of 2008-16. Sure, from the position we put ourselves in we still had to win and get the 4 points. We did the job which is a big tick. On the road, at the MCG.
But as far as credibility for us to beat better teams in September we're still a long way off based on that start.
I think you're being harsh on Hartigan, he was hard at it and had a lot of good involvements. Was playing on a very good player in Roughead.
Agree with the rest.
Jenkins should be out for about 5 weeks.
Have you seen our fixture for the next 5 games? View it and it'll make you feel better I promise
We out tackled the Hawks, particularly in the last 3 quarters to pressure them into not playing on their terms... like they had in the 1st.Rory Sloane had 16 tackles. 16!
True, but that was one massive mental hurdle to overcome, one which I dont think should be underestimated. That was game over against a good team

So did I. It was a bit scary
Well deserved win guys. Better team all around the ground. Jacobs was massive. Good luck for the rest of the year. For once I get to say this with sincerity as we won't be competing
One day less rest and played a man down from early on and played in energy sapping heat last week and yet no problems today. Very very impressive.
5. Sloane
4. Jacobs
3. Cameron
2. Otten
1. Mackay
5 weeks best case scenario. Could easily be 10 or more.
Showdowns are never easy and Essendon might be a lot better than we realise.
And Leigh Matthews is the only person on earth who thought it was a good call. The umpire who paid the free kick to Puopolo must live in a bizarro world.
Up is down. Black is white. Night is day. Blatant holding the ball is a free kick to the man blatantly holding the ball.
AFL, are you watching this? Are you seriously watching this display and thinking it's ok?
That umpire should be tarred and feathered in Bourke St Mall. And then sacked. He does not know the rules. He is an AFL umpire who does not know the rules of AFL.
Gillon, instead of taking months to decide what time the ******* Grand Final is going to be played, how about doing something- anything- about your dumb-as-**** umpires?
Do your ******* job.

I love the boys too but noone is better than Sloane.I love our kids so much.
Sure Sloane and that generation are good, but our young kids are better.
Our premiership window is going to be open for the next decade thanks to McGovern, Laird, Cameron, Crouch, Atkins etc
Our run won it in the end with some hardness at the ball thanks to Sloane. 16 tackles is a club record apparently. Hampton also had 10.
Hartigan was also not awarded several frees which would have been quickly paid to any Hawks forward in the same situation.
