Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

How desperate are they to clear the supposed $700k Bowes is on? They don't need Pick 7, but they do need to not lose King, Anderson, Rowell etc.

If we don't get a sweet deal from them, another club will.

Agree. Add to that Flanders on 500k (apparently?).

We could help them clear over one million in cap space, whilst adding two ready-made talents to our list AND adding another top ten pick.

I'd be happy to lose our 2022 and 2023 second rounders at a minimum.

We'd be mad not to.

Judging by the AFL saying they were relaxing the rules around unbalanced trading, I wouldn't be surprised if a club managed to prize that pick away for even less than 2 seconds. Will be interesting to watch the deals that Gold Coast and GWS do this year.

Bowes + Flanders + 7 + future third for future second + future third

Suns clear plenty of cap space which they need badly whilst also banking some points for their academy players next year.
Might strip out a lot of points we'd need for McCabe / Dear next year.

We will cover next year if we have kept our first pick. McCabe highly likely to be involved. No doubt. Not sure about Dear yet.

What I saw today, we, like everyone else will be trying to get Watson and Reid. From what I am told the depth of next year is even better than this year.

If we get to take two quality Mids (Cadman, Sheezel and Wardlaw will be well gone) this year, get another pick for TOM, keep Jack, then work very hard as I hear we are on Gresham and Himmelberg, add McCabe and another, (don’t forget we have 2024 future picks to use) we will be better placed.

Cal is saying the AFL will approve Bowes and 7 for nothing back. An NBA style salary dump.
Then Sam and Mark's number 1 priority is convincing Bowes there's a spot for him in our side.

Apparently Flanders not available. Suns want to keep him.

Per Edmund.

Is 7 going to be on the table if there are really 4 clubs interested? Love it if it’s true, however, would imagine that if we are all clamouring for it then, GC might not need to go to this level.
They're clamouring for the pick, not the player.

It all comes down to who can dump the $700k per year on him.

It's us or Essendon. Point blank.

The thing is they can’t pick and choose, if they are pushing him out and he decides I want to go to ‘x’ or I’m staying they simply have to work with that club
