It could be the vibe though. Who was the last DD initialed barrister to win a high profile case? Denis Denuto.

David Denton/Denis Denuto - 11 Letters.

We are going to win this appeal.

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

i'm sure the afl would argue that hawthorn or any other club should have argued the rule change when it was first made months ago and not waited until it suited them etc.

Im pretty sure that people would think a fair bump and non intentional high contact would not go this far.

Keep going I say, If he argues anomalies in each rule we could be here for 3 weeks. :p
Stuff em, they'll learn not to tamper with rules and changes to those rules and then ammendments to those same rules!

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

Anyone got an estimate as to what time we might get a verdict?

Sounds like it will take a while:eek:

FRANKLIN CASE - To be honest, the Appeals Board Chairman doesn't appear impressed. But, it's so technical, it's too hard to read!3 minutes ago from web

Maybe he is unimpressed because the match review panel has been found out as the conflated rabble that it is?

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

Maybe he doesn't appear impressed because he shouldn't even have to be going through this and Buddy should never have been cited. Perhaps waiting for Denton to conclude so he say, "Buddy you are allowed to play"

Re: Hawks confirm appeal - hearing 5:30pm Thursday

They are saying Buddy was charged under the ammended rule .. but it's not actually printed in the law book

He got it right on Tues night, said we were losing it, and he was right...:(
Did Denton argue the case on Tuesday? If that's the case he is a SC. not a QC
