Forward line are wasting so many oppotunities by being to cute, the back line doing well considering the forward line f..k ups....today's game very ordinary in ordinary conditions.....

Agree. Seems like there is more pressure on the team this year from fans to win the three-peat than there was last year to win back to back. I am very happy that we are competing reasonably well and have not fallen off a cliff. Even if the team put in 100% on the training track and still have the hunger, it's very hard to maintain good form and momentum over a three year period. Notwithstanding that there are many areas for improvement, I am more than happy with how we are tracking so far this season.

Edit: Actually a four year period remembering that we played in the 2012 GF as well.

I am normally a big one for riding the bumps, and find most of the expectations by our fans too high.
And had no expectations last year, and not really any this year either.
But must admit to finding this year a bit frustrating.
Maybe because we don't seem a mile off, yet we just seem to be fluffing things.

David Hale is going to be so missed once he decides to retire. To have a bloke that can ruck but also average a goal a game is a blessing.
His contested marking and workrate is first class.
