We're playing away in Tassie so I doubt the umpires will be of any help to us. Once again we will be playing with a 3 man deficit this year...

Well unlike our other interstate games their will be quite a few local St Kilda Supporters and the local opposition (Hawk) fans are not over the top.

Pumped to see Koby and Sincs.

Both bring different skill sets to the team. Koby is as hard at the ball than anyone in the AFL, so will be nice to have a midfielder who will be willing to hunt the ball and man with intensity.

Sincs brings a lot of class into the team, something we lack. Hopefully he can get meaningful minutes following the ball and jag a few sausages.

Carn Saints!

If we are getting on top I hope the message goes out to sneaky Carlisle to creep forward and take a few grabs. With Membrey
not having as much dominance in the air this year and Bruce having to fly for marks with 2 or 3 opponents, Jakey could slither
forward and cause lots of problems for the Hawks defence. I´ve got confidence in Brown to keep Roughy in check with Robbo and Gilbert
cutting off their entries. Billings v Smith if they lineup on each other means Jack will need to lift his defensive skills and be prepared to run his guts out all day.Quick little bugger Smith is. I´m sure there is a plan to curb his run and carry. Should win this. Must win this. We better get a fair run with the umpires this time.

Well the umpiring couldn't be any worse than it was against the Hawks last year, hopefully we at least get some umpires that know how far 15 metres is.

Yes but the umpires actually barrack for Hawthorn which didn't bode to well for us last year....

Remember "not 15, play on.... not 15, play on.... knock it out, knock it out.... All clear, goal Hawthorn"??????

The only issue I can see is that Koby will spend more TOG in the midfield than Dunstan which may mean less time for Sincs to show if he can add something to our midfield set ups.

More rotations please!!!!!

Interesting 500k a year Vickery named Emg.
Reckon if it turns out to be a dry weather day he comes in and not if wet.
Big Boy will have worn Longer out by half time unfortunately.
Need to manage better than we have and Bruce is on the nose in the ruck and spoils his fwd game at the same time.
Gilbert the new Blakey but harder tackler.

Keen to see what JOM and Titch can do in 2018.
Right now however, just hurt them please.
About now we need a Guerra running off the point of the square and clean their best mid up at first bounce.
Who in our team would do that now........ thinking........ thinking........ nup... no-one

Dunstan dropped-- amazing-- should have happened last year instead of acres--would like to have seen paddy in the team, worried Bruce and members aren't kicking enough, at the expense of Gilbert, otherwise it is looking gr8.. sincs, Minch and acres in the team is awesome...still think savage is important , plays well against the dorks, not sure who he would replace in future..

I look forward to the post-match melts when Sinclair does not play even 1 minute in the midfield....

If we lose it will be melt city..let's play the kids and experiment, I don't think we will finish higher than 12th. Team should try hand balling and spread, and holding onto the ball longer and evading, maybe even try lowering the eyes and hitting targets >50 for a change..those long bombs to Bruce are getting old..

It wouldn't surprise me if we went "Hey that guy getting 30+ weekly in the vfl midfield, we should stick him in a position he hasnt played in over a year, pocket it is" and then wonder why he doesnt play well

Reckon they gave him 35 for a reason.
Hoping common sense prevails anyway.
