After 1 season it looked like Judd but we weren't sure. ( AFLPA best first year player award ).
After 2 seasons most people thought it was Judd.
After 3 seasons Judd had a Brownlow.

Did you still have your head in the sand until they actually handed him the medal?
Credit to a long career for Hodge but there are older players on your list who are better.

Don't try to make them feel better, Jaeger is a heart breaking story. He could have been anything but it's unlikely he will make it back to have anything like the career he should. It's unlikely he will make it through another 50 games.
