maybe he's given up. or maybe he drank a beer because it's something that humans do sometimes.

IMO - We have a large hole in our development. Especially midfield development. Kids like Dow (looks like an octopus), SPS, LOB etc should be showing more on a consistent basis. Walsh is the obvious complete exception here. We have no delivery to curnow/Harry. McGov either go to the magoos or drop Levi and/or plowman and put him back with Goddard.

Drafting/ trading. Huge problem. Drafting injury plagued high draftees. Rookie drafting has been putrid.

Only minor positives for me tbh. The potential is there but only in small patches (3 quarters against the pies and first half against hawthorn).

Don’t blame Cripps if he ****s off either. I’d be turning things around very very quickly tho. Even show signs of improvement. Doubt Bolton will see Monday if we get done in the arvo.

I give him about 40 minutes.

SOS might survive about 24 hour - might be bit mean to sack him on the same day his son plays his 50th. SOS will go down in history as one of the world list managers ever.

you forgot to add the word "shit" in there mate.

This is all on SOS. the second they traded their future first rounder he put so much unnecessary pressure on the list to perform. Add to that Doc' going down in pre-season and iit so quickly showed the total & utter stupidity of the decision. Why you would put a young list, supporters and the media in a situation where they KPI themselves against a mature list like Adelaide, is beyond me. If i didnt know any better, i would say he set Bolton up for failure.

Teams who have lived at the bottom for a decade - never, ever, EVER trade future 1st round pick. Whoever signed off on that and supported it - needs to be sacked. Clearly did not do his research on other sports like the NBA - so unprofessional

Dumb post. Carlton are shit because of their coach. Stocker has been fine.

The only pressure they put on was Stocker to make it as an A grader, they made the decision he would be better then anything they would get with pick 1 this year. Ignorant fools such as yourself will focus on the draft pick numbers which is good because it takes some of the pressure off Stocker but make no mistake his career is what will decide the value of this trade.

I actually think he will become a better footballer then Walsh if they can build his tank over the next couple of off seasons, he beat Walsh to win the Morrish Medal with 1/2 the running ability.

yeah, and another coach comes in, may get short term turnaround, but will go to shit like Brittain, Pagan, Malthouse etc. Only Rattan was half decent for Carlton with Judd and a top up from the draft.

End of the day, it's the players you get in. It's not just ability. It's attitude
 
I honestly don't think we can blame bolton. It's about time they just shut the doors at Carlton. They are an embarassment, a disgrace and a drain on the competition. Time to fold and we can move forward with a worthy team like one based in Tasmania. I am not joking either. Carlton are where coachinig, playing and administrating careers go to die!!

The AFL competition would be bloody awesome to give Tasmanian's their own AFL team, I like the idea.
