Opinion I've lost my faith in Ken Hinkley

If we dont bulk up over the preseason - ie Ollie puts back on that 3 kgs he shed last preseason, and many others put on a few kgs, and we dont play 2 proper KPF's next year for at least 16 of the 22 home and away games, ie Westhoff, Ryder, Lobbe and Redden are not proper KPF's, you can forget ever winning a flag under Ken's reign.

I seen enough of his running gameplan. It isnt sustainable. It and the personnel have to change.

It's a huge worry that all the faults of last weeks game plan were there for all to see and our coaches went ahead with again this week anyway. Ken's always going on about tough, hard, Port Adelaide football and then we go into games with this unaccountable nonsense where our defenders are so far up the ground that they're having shots on goals while their opponents hang out in the goal square waiting for the inevitable stroll through the centre square.

I hate to criticise Hinkley but every year he tries to reinvent the gameplan. Port Adelaide football is not a fad Ken.

He is a big phoney,

sits there in the coaches box wolfing down lollies and cans of coke, while leaving his players hanging out to dry with a game plan that requires the players to push shit up hill for 120 minutes.

He has lost me completely.

It is time for a review of his and the coaches performances. It has been bad since the middle of 2014, and its only getting worse.

why did we give him a four year contract at the start of last year?

unbelievable incompetence by the board and KT.

Yeah, it's like the coaching staff believed Don Pyke didn't have anyone watching last week's crapola press, and numerous out the back goals, and doesn't have a tv either, so he couldn't watch it for himself.
Maybe he got the info at the press conference, and overheard Ken's plan. ;)

Anyway, being serious for a moment, today's rubbish is totally unacceptable, Ken needs to wake up and smell the coffee, because its gone cold.

I didn't get to see any of the game, (thank god).

Are the defenders really pressing that far forward when we attack?

From what i can gather, this is Hinkley's game plan...

With less interchanges i honestly though we'd open the game up more and use all of the ground. Use our "superior fitness".
Not try and pin it in our 50 and pretend we can defend the width of the center of the ground flawlessly...
