Just curious.

How many of those 20 tackles were effective ie. how many:
1. caused a turnover,
2. got a HTB decision, or
3. forced a disposal that had to be changed from the oppo's original plan, and threw their attacking strategy off?

Lots of tackles get recorded, but a lot are ineffective.
Old convo, but Rozee's an extremely weak tackler. Constantly in key moments he has players done cold but is shrugged off with ease. I'm not sure if these 'attempts' count as tackles, but his tackling is a huge issue. Anyone that watches Rozee and doesn't observe that he is a weak tackler isn't paying attention.

Ineffective tackles aren't supposed to be recorded by champion data. From the AFL Player Ratings explanation book.

Tackles
Tackles are paid when a player either prevents an opposition disposal or forces an ineffective disposal. Where the player
prevents an opposition disposal by winning a free kick or forcing a stoppage he is rewarded with the increase in equity from the state before the tackle was applied and the ball being in a ground contest. Tackles forcing an ineffective disposal are not credited with any points since they will be counted in the Pressure Applied category.

😒
Hey true believers give your 30yr home loan commission's to Dom.
Geelong are out there giving financial bumps to their current coach and players and we're just fluffing up a guy who retired almost 10yrs ago

whats worse, our franchise centre half forward saying he'd rather win Bathurst, or our Captain having a go-to jeweler. it's a kind of easy answer on the surface, but gets more and more horrifying the more you think about it

That’s amazing, I approached them 8 years ago with doing some JV like this and got told no thanks

How much jewellery are you buying to have a "go-to" jeweller?
The screenshot doesn't really say, but is it Class A Jewellers.

Because it would be really weird if they weren't his "go-to" jewller considering

In 2008 when we were looking for someone to replace John James as CEO our head hunters sounded out Todd Greenberg who was then CEO of Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL.

A couple of well known people applied for the job, but the SANFL basically stuck in Mark Haysman and much to their surprise, he wasn't a lackey for them, but tried to do the best job for the PAFC.

Greenberg moved to the NRL in 2013 to become their Head of Football and then in 2016 became CEO of the NRL and held that position until mid 2020, when covid hit and he had a falling out with Peter V'Landys as NRL looked in big financial trouble - like all sports did. V'landys had started acting as an executive chairman before covid hit, and this just speed up the process.

He had a cricket playing background, his first job after uni, and before joining Cantebury, he worked for Cricket NSW, and became CEO of the Australian Cricketers' Association 6 or 7 months after leaving the NRL.

Today he became the CEO of Cricket Australia.

Can't help but wonder what he would have been like as our CEO. Would he have brought that hard rugby league edge to us?? Would the SANFL have let him stay as long as they let Haysman stick around for??

Not surprisingly, that typifies South Australia as anyone who attempts to set up their own business enterprise well knows.

Mate, I know of another guy, and you know who I'm talking about, who was vastly over qualified to fill that position and the apparent "scour the world for the best candidate" employment agency wouldn't even return his phone call. Haysman was the only guy considered by the SANFL and he was definitely an SANFL plant, its a credit to him and his morality that he turned on them.

Travis Boak became an underwear salesman in his peak years

I chatted to Richo at the AGM about Alison and he said they were going to try and get her down to the club but it would be hard as she had production meetings in the morning at both ABC and 7 even though the test started at 2.30pm. Luckily it was only a 3 day test and she got some free time.

Richo says she is a very engaged international ambassador and had been to the club before.

He’s the epitome of all that’s wrong currently.

The minister for propaganda.

Eagerly awaiting him joining the populist Dudebro Christianity pivot with his forthcoming podcast, Norts & Crosses.
