Is the list good enough now Davies you ****ing hack?

Can’t wait to see our boy Atkins run out there and play every game next year, and Kenny will say the list has holes in it.

Pick 13 is now a Hail Mary. The club is putting a lot on this pick to be better than having a star like Houston on our list while trying to win a flag.

That 1st for Luko is fine but everything else was disgraceful.
13 to be on traded/split.

Genius, it just gets better. Instead of trading Houston for multiple firsts, we’ll trade him for one first and two VFL players, then use our only first for lower picks instead.

Edit: this just makes last year look even worse. We've traded out what turned out to be pick 18 for spuds, only to now trade one of our best players just to try and trade back for similar picks like 18.

Jason Cripps needs to answer for this wreck.

Its going to happen again with Bergman in 25 and Butters in 26.
We're going to get reamed on both occasions.

Lol they'll put it down to the death of their pafc daddy

Atkins/Luko/Richards instagram posts been up an hour. In that time no “likes” from not one of our players. Meanwhile JHF “liking” the thank you to housto post. boak and dyl williams post goodbyes to dan houston in the last half hour. How good fracturing the playing group and kicking out one of their favourite sons as much as he was probably forced to say he wanted out. Due to his draft value just to get a first round pick you could of got if not fkng up esava and soldo deals last year. This is going to bite us

Are you suggesting the club pushed him out? Based on what?

gut feel, we had no first round pick because of the mishaps of esava and soldo last year and so we needed to trade out a player of value. We dont openly suggest often more of a nudge nudge aka wingard. The general reaction from our players; this time last year butters jhf at least reacted to the trade posts. This year no ones batted an eyelid and have reacted more to dan leaving than anyone coming

This is factually incorrect. He made it clear he wanted no part of being at Port Adelaide - which is why the Club pathetically folded on the deal.

Did he forget he was contracted? There are many disgraceful individuals associated with this trade, too many to list.

I do not blame him after our pathetic tribunal and appeal showings.

Dan, although he asked for the hell out of here, is still more Port than Davies, Cripps, Hinkley and Koch

And this isn't just a bad deal in isolation, but it makes us a target for future bad deals. If god forbid Zac Butters asks out next year, whichever club he nominates will just put one first rounder on the table and wait for us to take it with some late pick swaps thrown in. Why wouldn't they? We've proven we'll fold under pressure.

We literally couldn't have had more leverage. Three years left on his contract, didn't nominate a club, said he was willing to stay if no deal got done. We still folded. If we'll fold in that situation, there's no situation we won't fold in.

He wanted no part of being at Port Adelaide? So when did this falling out happen? He still looked pretty invested in the showdown (his last game).

He wanted no part of being at Port next year. He has no problem per se with the Club, he just wants to be in Melbourne with his partner.

I have made it clear I believe his stance is pathetic given she is a "client services manager" (codeword for admin office worker) who could do plenty of her job remotely from Adelaide, and there were no extenuating family circumstances that warranted a move on compassionate grounds. They could have easily revisited this trade in 12 months time.

Just wait until the feeding frenzy for Burgman next year

I’ve been saying for a while the SA clubs need a retention allowance and/or academies, WA clubs probably do too. None of these 4 clubs are going anywhere, they are footy wastelands given the ever growing population in the eastern states cities and the growing player registrations and northern clubs academies.
