I thought our forward line was our Achilles heel in the finals with a cooked Dixon and a rotation among 3 sanfl standard small forwards, McEntee, Evans and Narkle.

Our forward line looks better on paper with Lukosius and Richards coming in. Let’s see how that translates next season

Well that’s it, we need MG and Rioli playing at the top of there game.
There just isn’t much left like you say.

Someone is selling all Marshalls guernseys thru Facebook. The guy says he is selling it for Marshall. Maybe retiring or just getting rid of old stuff.

I’m amazed reading on other sites how happy people are about Boak playing on next year.
I like him and hope the club can find a role for him afterwards but his playing days are over.
One poster even said if he plays around 20 games next year he would be around 390 games, then he says he could go on the following year and play 400.

Boak was good this season.

Aside from almost single handedly ending Port’s season, he certainly had some serviceable games sprinkled in amongst the dross.

Go back and read what he said. If he was coached then I’d back 90% of this board to do better.

All he had to say was it was a split second decision and he acted in self defence, instead he acted like a deer in headlights and said words to the effect of “I don’t know”.

I’ll choose to believe he was not provided any advice, or if he was, he flat out ignored it.

I have a feeling Clurey even though he has 1 year left in his contract. They may push Scully & K. Marshall from the main to the Rookie list after delisting Narkle, F.Evans and possibly McEntee (1 year contract left).

This maybe year to delist aggressively due to quality of draft prospects and future draft years being compromised with Academy/FS and Tasmania coming in.
