Interesting, we will need new threads but I wonder what happens to McDonald and Campbell. Not yet out of contract but it was reported on SEN that it's unusual that they haven't extend yet as that's the norm these days.

Swans can't keep back ending contracts forever. Even after buddy goes they will still have to deal with some of these back-end contracts (Mills, Heeney, Parker)

True, it might still be a little issue as it all adds up when you back end multiple deals. Might be a little bit of a hangover after buddy retires to get back into a position where you can stop back-ending and level out / start front ending deals again. But sydney are to well run they should be able to manage and keep who they want to in the end.

Yeah but not all of those re-signing are getting a pay rise.

it seems to me that the money taken from the lowers can help pay for the raise, combined with the OOC.

Will probably lose Florent IMO.
