I also love the "DeGoey endured" bit, like the whole thing wasn't all of his own making. All somebody else's fault, of course.

Degoey is another boys club protected species and represents the true attitude of the AFL's standing on DV and violence in general. Also add in their attitude on gambling and drugs. Money and power from those at the top is all they will ever care about.

My take is we've won 9 games by less than 13 points because really we should have won by 5 or more goals.

Against sides where it should be a close margin we typically lose by more than 2 goal.

I can't remember the last time we won a game as deserved underdogs. Hawthorn in 2015 is the last I can remember off the top of my head.

Yep - Robinson did pretty well everything wrong there. Problem with the afl system has always been basing the penalty on the outcome rather than the action.

Robbo went so far as to start placing the blame on Duursma. Unbelievable the way they cry at how we should get more weeks and dissect incidents when we do it, but when it happens to other teams' players they leap to the defense.

The AFL have chosen to ignore the fact that as a result of Robinson's illegal action Duursma was subbed out of the game at quarter time. If Duursma had been concussed the AFL would have viewed the incident differently.
