Lol they took it down? Too much laughter at their expense.

It was a tweet about how Dyson Heppell would have a new roll at Essendon.

Crows regret social media announcement of Walker’s return

Adelaide regret the social media announcement on Wednesday that excitedly revealed the return of former captain Taylor Walker from suspension for racial abuse.

The Crows announced on social media on Wednesday that Walker would play this week with a picture of a smiling Walker and the message “CONFIRMED: Taylor Walker will face Essendon this weekend. He’s back” with a sunglasses emoji and the hashtag #weflyasone.

But Crows sources said the club was regretful of the message, saying it completely missed the mark, was inappropriate given the suspension Walker served and should not have been posted.

The message was posted by a fill-in staff member on the social media team. The club decided not to take the message down as they felt it would amplify the error.

Kane Cornes said something like “it’s too soon to talk about the coach in R4.”

Come on! It’s Kenny’s 10th season. It’s not Round 4. It’s Round 211!

"To the Port fans, and I'm calling it tearing the club apart calling for Ken's head.........potting from the cheap seats is what I call it, I said to 'em, have a good look at yourselves, you're not supporters because you're not supporting."

Stephen Rowe 7/4/2022 In response to Port Members calling for coaching change

"If you pay your money, your hard-earned, then you deserve to be heard and respected.........we get the texts, the emails, I see it, I hear it, there are 11 game foundation members that don't have the faith........they are running away from the club"

Stephen Rowe 26/8/2019 In response to Adelaide Members calling for coaching/regime change

It suits Crows' apologists to push back against change at Port. It deflects attention from their own ****show, especially if we end up finishing below them.

It also stifles the reaction to Ted's return this weekend, and keeps that off the from page.

That's funny and all but no one gives a single shit what Stephen Rowe has to say. He's a nobody. Props to Roy from the Traders (AFL Fantasy media) for essentially calling James a spud when giving pre-season tips on Rowe's show last year.

Yes I know he's a nobody.

So are pretty much all the media involved in AFL.

This was more to illustrate the difference in narrative in the media between our current situation with a 10 year coach who has achieved less in 10 years than Pyke did in 4, and they were demanding change.

We're kind of spoilt for choice if we want to demonstrate the difference in narrative between us and virtually any other club.

more likely if they took it down their supporters would start complaining about political correctness gone mad and that racism 'goes both ways'

Had to LOL at the Tiser write up today mentioning that we had departed from our usual free wheeling, run and gun style of play to a slow, methodical style.

The last time Port played open running footy was around 2014.

Since then it's been uber defensive, slow ad treacle build ups. Like pulling hen's teeth 😒😖

Clearly the journalist calibre, in terms of forensic analysis and investigation, is well below par these days. Like Port, the bar is set pretty low 🙄

Heard from someone, that the SEN boys during the call, including Kane Cornes, may have been making some insuations that Ollie Wines leaving the ground due to Nasuea was a cover for him not being in great form or worse still, should have played through it.
Did anyone hear it or am I being spun a line.

They may have been speculating when he first went off, no obvious injury, but the fact they sent him to hospital and kept him in overnight it was clearly genuine and more than just nausea.
