Melbourne Auction - the aftermath

OMG what a fantastic night. Shame we didn't win yesterday...but...the night rocked on. I am completely hungover and to be frank, don't have the energy to report all the happenings, so Anne, Marty or Sarah...feel free. I'll be back later, but a few highlights included.

• I did finally meet Scott Thompson - and told him how fabulous I thought he was
• Dancing on the stage with Marty and then being asked to get off!
• Neil Craig referring to the players as 'Cowboys' hahahaha still cracks me up - YEEEHAAAA!
• Winning the auction for my neon clock
• Having a photo with 'long shanks' Skipworth

Will be back to elaborate later. I'm off to bed. Nighty Night.

Yes feeling a lil hung over myself but yeah not to bad, as Kristie said was a fantastic night with all players in attendence accept for Edwards and Burton due to injuries.

Where do I start, I guess the entree is a good start, this was cold, half cooked duck, pretty scary stuff and I think most people just ate the salad and left the duck.

Angela's interview's with Skippy and Biglands, she asked them to respond with one word answer's to certain topics, some were corkers such as when Skippy was asked about Gerig and said Shriek, Biglands was asked Eddie McGuire and he said Who??? Skippy was also given Neil Craig and pipes up THE Boss.

Players mingled well with supporters, Mcleod was very entertaining and gave me a few tips on improving my tie. He also suggest I go put a bid on the jumper he had put 'alot' effort into signing. Had a very interesting covnersation with Bassett and he was concern over a chick that was making many efforts to hook up with any Crows player there, he even sugeested she may have tried to 'cop a feel'. He seemed very positive towards Neil Craig and was very negetive towards Gary Ayres.

Dancing was the highlight of the evening and yes Kristie and I were removed from dancing on the stage

Kristie's highlight of the evening would have been getting her Thompson picture signed and it was signed as follows:

Kristie also took a bit of a shine to dancing with the Mark Ricuttio sign and rubbing herself against it, not sure what the go was there.

Anyway back to recovering for me will post back later and we will organise to get so pic's of the evening put up.

I had a fantastic night too! I love my photo with Thommo, hot! All the players were so friendly, Doughty a little too friendly perhaps

I agree Marty the food was quite rank...duck? Ick. And not happy with them running out of champagne. Haha what about the roof on fire?! My gosh, I was really scared!

But all in all an excellent night! Except someone outbid me for that DvF bag - damn it!

LOL yeah it was sensational. He was such a good sport! Thommo is fabulous, he really, really is!.

The Roo thing....the poster was there on the dance floor, I was drunk....what more can I say.

Firstly this is Amy not Sarah...i'm sure she'll be on soon to give the run down on Perrie!!

What an absolutely fantastic night. What more could you want?! the chance to dress up, free booze and all the players, bar edwards and burton, who played against Geelong. I was very glad to see Hentschel come instead of burton!!! i was in fantasy land!!

The higlight of my night would have to have been when Marty asked Benny Hudson what the key had been to him becoming adelaide's No. 1 ruckmen. His reply...."i've stopped shagging the coach's daughter"...what an absolute gun!!

It was good to see McLeod having a good night...in the past his Mrs has always been there but last night he was a free man and was in good form!!

ROO...man how much red wine did he drink???

I'm sure a few of the players would have woken up with a bit of a sore head today.....DOUGHTY, SKIPWORTH, HUDSON....they all seemed to be having a good night!!!

Scott Thompson is the biggest ladies man around!!!!

The food was very average...DUCK for an entree?? We were all wondering how many ducks would have been killed on our table...ewwww!!!!!

We've just been to print the photo's and there's a few classics....love the one of Marty's tie done by Andy McLeod!!! .... Sarah's printed a few of her and Perrie...i think she's in love hehehe!!!!

All in All i had an absolutely fabulous night!!!!
