50,000 members really is an amazing achievement, however I would love to see a breakdown of membership types... 3 game, full 11 game, pets.
I'm a Full Season Member this year, after having been a Vic Member since 1997, I'd love to see what the Victorian Membership numbers are these days & can't see any harm in the club releasing those figures. It think it would be great to quantify how many old Fitzroy Members are still on board along with the good size of new generation supporters living down south.

Says in the link you have to be an AFL Member to qualify?? Surely they mean Brisbane Lions Member & not an actual AFL Member, which is a different thing..

Below a few of the major points from my point of view only. this does not cover everything.
(a) are aged 18 or over;
(b) are a 2023 member of Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club;
Scan into the Rd 22 Brisbane Lions v Adelaide Crows match at the Gabba with a valid 2023 Brisbane Lions Membership ticket.
Forwarded member tickets will be ineligible for the prize draw.
There will be a total of 5 winners in this competition – 4 minor prize winners and 1 major prize winner.
There will be 2 separate draws conducted - 1 minor prize draw and 1 major prize draw.
Minor prize draw
Gabba, 812 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba QLD 4102 The first 5 valid entries drawn randomly from all entries will be eligible for Minor and Major Prize. Entrants who are unsuccessful in the Major Prize Draw will receive a minor prize.
Major prize draw
Only the Minor Prize Winners will be entered into the major prize draw (Major Draw Entrants). The major prize draw will be held at approximately 6pm (AEST) on Saturday 12 August 2023 at Gate 2 The Gabba, 812 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba QLD 4102. This prize draw will take place during the three-quarter time break at the Rd 22 Brisbane Lions v Adelaide Crows 2023 AFL Match.
Minor prize draw winners will enter into a game of chance to win the Major Prize.
Major prize
The major prize is a white (atlas white) 2023 Hyundai Kona N Line (VIN: KMHHA813SRU034989) including all statutory and on-road costs for the State of Queensland valued at up to $44,022.

That’s why I’ve always thought the number for all clubs should be membership revenue in dollars as arbitrary “member” numbers could mean anything and not paint a full picture.
No doubt management bonuses at AFL and club land are tied to the vague member numbers opposed to the real data or is that me being too cynical?
Whatever the breakdown of the membership categories, topping, or indeed SMASHING the 50k barrier is an incredible achievement. When I first signed up for the 1993 season I think we had 8k. 52k blows my freaking mind.

According to this article, the most Nth have ever had is 51,191. It'd be nice to leapfrog the Dogs & the Saint best ever in the near future too, 54k & 58k. How soon will be up to how the club handles the whole upcoming Olympic saga I guess.

Nothing as well and now in my 27 season since the merge and have only missed one game in Geelong with COVID. - Although I did get a bookmark a couple of years ago To celebrate my platinum membership! Hope we get info next week about how all our GA ticket holders get in. Will be massive night.
As far as I know all Vic members will already be counted as going so shouldn't be an issue?

If they wouldn’t come down to Melbourne for the GF if we made it (whatever year), and the prelim was in Brisbane (which I wouldn’t go up for), are there any priority 1 members who would be willing to partake in an exchange kind of thing? E.g. they can use my priority 1 barcode to obtain another prelim ticket, if I can use theirs in the priority 1 grand final ballot? Would be 100% above board and a legit arrangement. Would only do it with a well known and long time poster on this board though, cos none of them are dodgy.
