havnt read the whole thread but does anyone else think harley is way too high

Way too high, always takes 3rd forward behind Mackie and Scarlett. Hudghton gets best each week, as does Bock. Never impressed with Harley when I see him play - maybe I don't see him enough.

They do, but Max actually beat him in 1 on 1's, whereas Bitchmond's defenders didn't have to. Coz they have all 18 players back.

yeah i have become a bit of hudghton fan as well. reckon corey may have been a touch high. prob deserves to be top 10 just not 3. to me he doesnt hurt sides enough considering how much ball he gets.

Hodge had more influence, Hodge himself is probably now the most influential player in the league, regardless of how many stats he racks up

hodge had more influence when he went to the backline, which i think wasnt till late in the second half of the season? dominated in the finals series, but joel corey dominated pretty much the whole season....

we played better then you guys in the H&A? thats why we have more AAs?
it was a bad day for our forward line on the one game that mattered.

im so disappointed simon black is sitting at number 17 down below scarlett whos at number 5 surely black is top 10 worthy, his career has been more decorated than pretty much all of them and he had another killer season. he doesnt get the recognition he deserves

Couple of points - those bagging Max Hughton need to get a grip. Well known fact now that he conceded just 27 goals this year. In many circles is the unofficial AA FB. List of names of forwards he comprehesively out-played, out-talked and out-Maxed:

Franklin (x2)
Fevola (x2)
Lloyd (x1 or 2)
Brad Johnson (x 2)
Barry Hall (x1)
Can't be bothered anymore.

Only big forward he didn't take was Pavlich - but we had Sam Fisher for that job.


Other point - Riewoldt that low is illogical. Most dominant player in the comp 2nd half of the year, and without him Saints would be bottom 4, not top 4.

I disagree with Hudghton beating Franklin, when the ball was coming into the 50 he scored 3.3 in a half of football. In the second half he moved up the ground to get the ball.

And in the finals he had that hand injury.

- Pavlich should be top 5
- Scarlett is not in top 10
- Steve Johnson should be top 15
- Tom Harley shouldnt be in top 20
- Swan should be top 25
- Cox should be top 7
- No Chad Cornes, past it.
