Traded Mitch McGovern [traded to Carlton in a three-way trade involving Sydney and McAdam]

No, my anger is low. Mitch has a trade value in the industry around the 20 mark. Lots of ability, but a need to take it to another level. I have no emotional scarring towards the Adelaide list manager. It's a business.
Uncontracted value at 20. Actual contracted trade value is what the crows demand..that is the only value that matters like has been mentioned hundreds of times already

What's relevant is his trade value to Adelaide given he is contracted for another 2 years.

Ricciuto has said the Crows want a pick in the top 10 or he won't be traded.

The question is will Carlton meet the Crows demands for a player they have chased or does it become like Gibbs in year 1... or does another club come into play...

The only thing that big mouth idiot is achieving by sprouting unrealistic trade demands is ensuring every trade you have either in or out is Gibbs level difficult to get done.

I hear the demands, I hear the emotion. I don't hear the evidence for why his value should be higher. YouTube highlights vid again?

Roo is the director in charge of Football Operations, so he has more idea about the Crows expectations than you or any other Carlton supporters thinking a 2nd rounder will do...

Roo sounds like he might BF foam on occasion? There isn't another club in pick 10 foamer land.

That wasn't my point now was it? You don't hear anyone else mouthing off that they want 3 times a players value long before trade week, no different to Reid mouthing off that gibbs was coming to adelaide before talking to carlton.

Everyone that goes and asks SOS quietly what it will take to get their players ends up with what they want, applying media pressure is only going to harm your chances.

Lol, club officials often make statements in the media about their club.

Your club did the same with demanding 2x 1st rounders for Gibbs.

What's the difference?

Ps. Your point was you have valued Gov in the 20's... so just letting you know that's irrelevant, as the Crows valuation is what matters.

Mark Ricciuto seems to display many qualities of the emotive Adelaide Bigfooty poster. The AFL community outside of the AFC does not have a trade value for Mitch McGovern around pick 10.
Luckily though for the AFL he is their player not anyone elses and they set the terms and if it is paid then good if not then mcgovern stays as he and manager know well.

Again, what you, me & others think is irrelevant.

Gov is a contracted player to the Crows, so the Crow's valuation is all that matters.

I don't recall us coming out making any public statements on the matter. I do recall Reid coming out telling everyone we wanted 2 1st round picks.
Go back & have a read as it was made clear in no uncertain terms 2x 1st rounders or no deal... so ended up being no deal in year 1.

Exactly what the dogs said about Stringer and guess what they didn't get one in the top ten and guess what he was traded. Public comments by Roo and the like are nothing more than posturing

Of course you're aware of Stringer's well publicised off field issues that obviously scared competing clubs off? If you don't think that impacted on Stringer's trade worth in the end you're delusional.

Dogs wanted Stringer out... whereas Crows have said they are happy for Gov to stay if a deal can't be done. Pyke & Gov still get on fine.

What has that got to do with the point I made. All of those issues were well understood when the dogs made the comments. However, I hope it makes you feel better to believe Roo and feel like it makes what he says a guarantee. I honestly do but it would be very naive of you. Just because you want something to be the case doesnt make it so.

Do you seriously think that there is any scenario where McGovern plays for the crows next year? Seriously?
