15 possies, 3 tackles and a goal a game for a defensive forward is certainly not terrible. He'd probably relish being a more experienced head around Port, meaning a bit of an increase in those stats which starts looking pretty good, not brilliant, but a bargain for pick 48 plus keeping the Chaplin compo.
Surely Pearce is worth the same as Chaplin for compo, not a late second rounder? Ranked top ten for either R50s or i50s per game for each of the last 3 years.

Supposedly a 400K p.a. 3-4 year deal for a small-medium forward with a career high of 31 goals in a season. For those wondering, Ebo has had at least 3 30+ seasons with 1 of those being 56 in 2007. The draft pick is OK but the supposed deal makes no sense whatsoever

Can we leave the bitching and moaning until then also, your incessant whinging is getting my goat.

Have we not endured enough negativity?
Wasn't it only a couple of days ago that people were all agreeing that 4 year deals were clearly too long for Chappy and Pearce?

Is my view on players getting far-too-long term contracts so variant that people need me to shut up now?

I agree 4 year 1.6 mill has to raise eyebrows...and create doubts

Let me gues you hate big Matty t?

**** you bigfooty, not letting me quote posts.

Anyway, I think Matty T needs to improve his output significantly next year, after his effort against GWS it is bloody clear he has more to offer.

Angus is older

And there stats are pretty identical last year...splitting hairs ...I'm fact BMT has had more tackles

but my point is bmt at 4 years at 1.6 million would cause the PAFC bigfooty board into meltdown including me

If we get 2 compo FA picks instead of a combined 1 pick, then we may not have used pick 48 anyway.

He's not a bad player but he has two traits we desperately don't want,

1. Downhill skier
2. Diver

We are in the middle of clearing those blokes out lets not recruit more...

Re-teach him the Port Adelaide game style and he'll do well. A fresh start for both parties and I think you did well on the trade.

PS Well done on the coaching appointment.

First "good news day" for Port in ages.

Yep, looks like we'll be exiting the draft after our Troy Chaplin compo pick. 4 picks by the looks of it.

Because our list is chockers with players we wouldn't want to delist?

We could still delist a few and replace through rookie upgrades of Pfeiffer and Jonas and maybe via the PSD for Jurrah and another player who might fall to us.
