You should enjoy this series to the end, despite it already just about being lost...According to the FTP, NZ only play 6 tests in the next 17 months (2 at home)

I just don’t see, aside from a) his youth, and b) his build, what they see in him. And the fact that he bowls spin, of course. It feels to me like they’re trying to force him to be a prodigy that he just isn’t

how are they trying to force him to be a prodigy? he plays his role. no one is out there actively talking him up as anything. his build, his youth, and his spin bowling... what else is there to select a player on?
